Brochures promoting Da Nang tourism are also available at the desk, according to Tran Chi Cuong, deputy director of the city’s Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
One more desk will be opened early next year to serve tourists, he said.
According to Cuong, the department has set up a center to provide tourists with tourism information and advice.
The official added that customs officials at Da Nang airport have recently found some Chinese tour guides bringing maps violating Vietnam’s sovereignty into the city and these cases have been handled in line with the law.
