VN offers assistance in search efforts for missing Air Asia plane

Deputy PM, FM Pham Binh Minh has  deeply shared worries of families and relatives of passengers on board flight QZ 8501, during his phone call to Indonesian FM Retno L.P. Marsudi this afternoon.  

Deputy PM, FM Minh affirmed that Viet Nam stands ready to assist in the search efforts for the aircraft which lost contact with Indonesian air traffic control early Sunday.

Passengers on board the Airbus A320-200 include 155 Indonesian, three from the Republic of Korea, one from the UK, one from France, one from Malaysia and one from Singapore.
