First, as of April 1, the country vaccinated over 206 million doses. However, in the software system, this number is just 197 million doses. This means, that nearly nine million dosses are yet to be updated. Furthermore, wrong information has been detected for about 41 million injections.

The MoH has asked vaccination facilities nationwide to make preparations for the upcoming issuance of e-vaccine passports.

The MoH will coordinate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Information and Communications in the negotiations with countries for the use and authentication of e-vaccine passports.

Vietnam had reached an agreement on the mutual recognition of vaccine passports with 17 countries as of March 17, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
