Vietjet and Satair sign multi-year agreement

Vietjet and Satair, an Airbus Services company, signed a multi-year agreement on February 18 for Satair's Integrated Material Services (IMS), a comprehensive material solution that will support Vietjet's entire Airbus A320 and A330 fleet.

Under this exclusive agreement, Satair will provide consignment stock and pooling support for expendables specific to Vietjet's A320 and A330 fleet. The tailored service will allow Vietjet to ensure material availability with a defined performance level, providing cost savings to boost cash flow and reduce capital expenditure.

Paul Lochab, CCO of Satair, said, “Our IMS collaboration goes beyond simply managing inventory; it's about empowering airlines like Vietjet to focus on what they do best, with the confidence that they've got the right support behind them. Satair's IMS product offering is an end-to-end supply chain solution that includes planning, sourcing, purchasing, logistics, and inventory management, covering all expendables and consumables required in the typical aircraft maintenance lifecycle. The solution has been developed in close collaboration with the airline as both a partner and a customer, full-service airlines, and low-cost carriers alike.
