A decade ago, “green consumption” was still very new to consumers. This not only made it difficult for businesses and manufacturers in the food and beverage sector but also hindered the needs of customers to access healthy products.
Established in 2006, VGreen has been a pioneer in the production of alcohol substitutes with ingredients mainly from fresh tropical fruit and green tea from Vietnam.
From the successful experience of producing pure fermented grape wine and juice in the central province of Binh Thuan in 2015, the brand continues to resonate, becoming the pioneer in producing Kombucha tea from Thai Nguyen tea in a cooperation programme with Thai Nguyen Department of Science and Technology.

Biotech, along with the closed supply chain Go Green, has helped VGreen bring to consumers delicious, nutritious, and natural drinks, and at the same time contribute to honouring Vietnamese agricultural products to international standards.
Without using imported materials or fruit, VGreen also focuses on selecting varieties and identifying areas for growing raw materials in Vietnam according to biotech standards. Some areas of clean raw materials supply production lines, such as the northern province of Thai Nguyen with tea as the main ingredient, while the central provinces of Binh Thuan and Ninh Thuan are regions with tropical fruit materials such as grapes, dragon fruit, and pineapples.
In addition to Kombucha tea, VGreen also develops other product lines, such as zero-degree fermented ginger beer and healthy pure wine drinks that are receiving an enthusiastic reception from consumers.
“Although it has not been able to completely replace traditional beer, wine, and liquor, healthy drinks for parties are the trend of the future, which has been welcomed by a large number of consumers. We always try to create beverage product lines and naturally fermented drinks to replace carbonated soft drinks and alcoholic beverages,” said Tran Thanh Viet, founder of VGreen Group.
The company today has a network of distribution agents present in all cities and provinces, and owns raw material areas and production factories in many provinces such as Thai Nguyen, Binh Thuan, Vinh Phuc, and Ninh Thuan.
These conditions help VGreen expand green consumption channels and reaffirm its mission of spreading a safe and healthy lifestyle to customers, especially in the context that consumers have been increasingly interested in paying more attention to healthcare products in the last couple of years.
