Prodezi and Huong Viet (HVH) launched Prodezi Eco-Industrial Park (Prodezi EIP) on October 1 in Long An province.

At 400 hectares, Prodezi EIP is the largest eco-industrial park in the Mekong Delta. Accompanying this industrial park is the 100 ha LA Home eco-urban area, which establishes a sustainable green value chain, demonstrating the project's appeal to the industrial real estate market.

Speaking at the event, Karl Truong, managing director of HVH, said that Prodezi EIP was born from a vision and long-term commitment to sustainable industrial development in Vietnam.

Prodezi EIP is committed to being a pioneer in sustainable practice and development through four pillars: renewable energy, reusing and recycling water, green buildings and warehouses, and organic farms.

“With a scale of up to 400ha, and an investment of VND4.6 trillion ($191 million), this is the first ecological industrial park in Long An and the largest in the Mekong Delta,” he said.

In the context of the global push to green the economy and reduce emissions, "green" standards and certificates have become a passport, opening the door for investors with strategic vision who want to reach out to developed markets.

Eco-IPs will create a harmonious benefit model: superior economy but still ensure beautiful landscapes and enriching living values.

In Vietnam, a country that considers industry as a pillar of development, the transition to an eco-industrial park model has become an inevitable trend, actively encouraged by the government towards the goal of net-zero emissions. The standards for eco-industrial parks have been specified in Decree No.35/2022/ND-CP.

Although achieving this standard requires time and high initial costs, in return, it is a great opportunity to attract foreign investment, take advantage of tax and fee incentives from the government and move towards sustainable development. However, to date, Vietnam has not had any IP that have met ecological standards, most of which are only in the process of conversion.

With a plan to start construction at the end of November 2024 and hand over in the second quarter of 2025, Prodezi EIP has a great advantage when investing to meet ecological criteria fully from the initial planning stage, ensuring legal compliance.

At the same time, HVH is also on the way to expand cooperation with international partners to apply advanced green standards from Europe and the US, ready to take the lead in the global sustainable development trend.

HVH's sustainable development commitments are also realised through pioneering the development of a parallel industrial - ecological urban model.

In addition to Prodezi EIP, the 100ha LA Home ecological urban area is also being implemented simultaneously, creating a double resonance value.

The Prodezi EIP and LA Home ecological urban area are located symmetrically, closely connected via Luong Hoa - Binh Chanh Avenue, creating a comprehensive ecosystem, bringing synchronisation and harmony between living and working spaces.

If Prodezi EIP meets all industrial ecological standards, LA Home is a testament to the urban ecological living standard.

With a construction density of only 30 per cent, LA Home's living space is elevated thanks to the art of sophisticated planning and in harmony with nature. Impressive figures of the 2.2 ha central park, seven canals, and a green tree and water system of up to 8 ha, create a balanced living space for residents.

The utility system at LA Home brings a premium living experience. From inter-level schools, medical centre, flea markets to modern amenities such as bustling commercial avenues, shopping centres, clubhouses, and many others. In particular, the 1ha multipurpose sports centre has just been put into operation, ready to serve residents, local people, and workers at Prodezi EIP.

A pioneering model, international standard infrastructure, full amenities and potential from a prime location and tax incentives, competitive rental prices, Prodezi EIP has abundant land funds adjacent to Ho Chi Minh City, along with professional management services.

"With active support from the local authorities, we are ready to welcome strategic investors with long-term vision, especially in the high-tech and environmentally friendly fields, to make Long An a reliable bright spot on the green industry map of Vietnam,” affirmed Truong.

Prodezi EIP owns a strategic location at the intersection between the existing Provincial Road No.830 and Luong Hoa - Binh Chanh Avenue (60m wide). This is part of the My Quy Tay - Luong Hoa - Binh Chanh axis, one of the six key dynamic axes of Long An, which Prodezi directly implemented the construction.

When completed at the end of 2025, this avenue will significantly shorten the travel time from Ben Luc to the centre of Ho Chi Minh City and conveniently connect with important national traffic routes ring roads 3 and 4, helping businesses easily access airports and seaports.

At the same time, the gateway position directly connecting Ho Chi Minh City with the entire Mekong Delta creates a superior advantage in attracting human resources. From here, Prodezi EIP will have access to high-quality labour from Ho Chi Minh City and the western provinces such as An Giang, Long An, and Dong Thap. This is an important foundation to help businesses at Prodezi EIP optimise human resources, minimise costs, operate stably, and improve productivity.
