The report, which details the current climate and scope of the DCIM market, placed Schneider Electric in the highest category of market leader when compared to a wide range of competitor’s solutions.
IDC’s report, IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Datacenter Infrastructure Management (DCIM) 2011 Vendor Analysis, identifies the DCIM market as continuing to rapidly evolve with a number of vendors working to establish themselves within the space. The report, published in January of 2012, places Schneider Electric at the forefront of DCIM technology development and as an industry thought leader.
“Schneider performed well in the business capabilities and strategy criteria sections, particularly regarding its growth strategy, innovation, and employee management,” the report stated.
This evaluation was based on a comprehensive framework that assessed vendors across a wide variety of technical and operational criteria, weighted by factors IDC believed will be the most influential over the next three to five years.
