Smart power lights up market

On October 25 SmartHome Company launched smart power-lighting switch, which was studied and developed successfully to provide a modern, and energy saving life for households and public places.

The device addressed the problem of power wastage which takes place in many workplaces, schools, workshops and other public places.

According to the Electricity of Vietnam (EVN), just turning of a light in peak hours, a household will save thousands of billion of dong. With this device, the light will be automatically turn on when detecting people entering the sensory areas and automatically switch off when nobody is there. In addition, Smart Home’s devices is designed to connect together to form a multiple control system of many devices which operates under many different energy- saving scenarios.

Late in 2010, the United Nations called on countries worldwide to replace incandescent lights with compact lights to save power. In Vietnam, the Earth Hour campaign to raise awareness of energy-saving is also responded by numerous people. The successful creation of power-saving smart lighting switch is a technical solution to help increase efficiency for the campaign.

Vu Thanh Thang, director of the SmartHome Company, said: "Use of power-saving smart lighting is a future trend. If households, offices, workshops and other public places use the device, the situation of power shortages every year will be significantly improved. We also believe that the SmartHome’s device will contribute to make a comfortable for Vietnamese people."
