Dragon Capital has become a signatory to the United Nations-backed Principles for Responsible Investment.

“We have been actively engaging with stakeholders for many years to promote the adoption of environmental, social and governance principles in the investment community. Promoting this is a long-term focus of Dragon Capital,” said Dominic Scriven, CEO of the investment fund.

He added Dragon Capital believed that joining the principles showed its ongoing commitment to the promotion of a more sustainable financial system and long-term investments using the principles to improve investment practices.

The UN-backed principles program is an investor initiative supported by more than 1,100 institutions from more than 50 countries, including many of the world’s largest pension funds, insurance companies, and investment managers representing in excess of $30 trillion in assets under management.
