Danang bids for Rong Bridge Guinness world record

The Guinness World Records (GWR) has confirmed that Rong (dragon) Bridge in Danang City has applied to set a record for the ‘biggest dragon in the world’.

The information was announced on Tuesday by the management board of Rong Bridge which is across Han River in Danang City. 

It is expected that GWR will examine the entry next month which if approved GWR will send experts to the bridge which will be completed at the end of March before making a final decision.

Rong Bridge is 718 meters long, it includes a dragon head (18.24m), body (680m) and tail (19.37m). Its width is 37.5m divided into a six-lane road.
