Colliers International launches Out for Good campaign

Colliers Internationals has just officially launched a corporate social responsibility campaign named “Out for Good,” as part of the company’s initiatives to give back to the community.

The campaign will run from now till July 31, 2011. Thereafter various community projects will be selected at different cities across Asia for Colliers staff to participate.

Through this programme, Colliers pledges to help communities or people in Asia that need a helping hand.

An interactive platform has been created to enable anyone to submit and vote on projects or ideas which will be carried out by staff of Colliers at the end of the campaign. The programme is also found on Facebook, where users can engage with others interested in this initiative and also view and vote for projects within Facebook.

In Vietnam, Colliers has supported to VinaCapital Foundation Fund for the Survive to Thrive, the new neonatal unit of the Danang Women’s and Children’s Hospital, donation for people in the Central of Vietnam during the flood in 2010, frequent activities at some Primary schools and pagodas in Hanoi and donation an amount of $2,382 for Japan community in 2011.

“Instead of making direct monetary contribution, we encourage our staff to put in their time and efforts in this campaign. We hope to inspire individuals to submit their own innovative ideas or vote for the ideas that they want Colliers to help with,” commented Brunner.
