AirAsia offers promotional fares to Thailand Grand Sale

AirAsia is offering air tickets at promotional prices to the Amazing Thailand Grand Sale 2013, where over 15,000 shops, restaurants, and services will be offering 10 to 80 percent discount all over Thailand.

The Amazing Thailand Grand Sale will take place in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Pattaya, Hat Yai, Hua Hin, and Samui from June 15th-August 15th, 2013.

Tourists flying to Thailand to attend the event with AirAsia can enjoy promotional fares starting from VND1.15 million ($55) per way, according to the airliner.

Tickets are available online at www.airasia.com, and booking can be made from now until May 5th, 2013 for travel from July 1st, 2013 until October 31st, 2013, the company said.

“We are so excited to be working with the Tourism Authority of Thailand by offering low fares to Thailand so travelers can save on airfare and splurge at the Amazing Thailand Grand Sale,” CEO of Thai AirAsia Tassapon Bijleveld said.

Apart from being a dream destination for shopaholics, foodies, and spa-lovers, Bangkok is also a great travel hub for those who intend to explore Thailand’s other cities and paradise islands, he added.

Popular summer destinations from Bangkok include Chiang Mai, starting from VND492,999 ($24) per way, and Phuket and Hat Yai, starting from VND563,000 ($27) per way.

Dream island destinations available through the Island Transfer Service include Samui (via Surat Thani airport) and Lipe Island (via Hat Yai airport) with low fares starting from VND741.000 ($36) per way.

All of the prices stated above are per way, all-inclusive of tax and fees, but exclusive of processing fees.
