Seven teams from Thailand, China, Australia, the Republic of Korea, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Japan, Kazakhstan and Vietnam will compete in the event.
The winners of the tournament will receive US$8,000 while the runner-up will earn US$5,000 and US$3,000 will be given as third prize. Eight other prizes will also be awarded to the best individual players.
This ninth international tournament is expected to provide an opportunity for the Vietnamese players to sharpen their skills in preparation for the upcoming Asian Cup Volleyball Championships and the 27th SEA Games.
