Vice State President Vo Thi Anh Xuan attended the ceremony and presented prizes to the 166 best students on September 18 in Hanoi.
Ngo Duy Hieu, vice chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, said he appreciated the student results: "The students' good outcomes have enabled their parents to spend all their efforts working for the country's development."
Nguyen Dinh Khang, chairman of the confederation, said that being studious was a long-standing tradition of the Vietnamese nation.
"The children have studied well and gained very good achievements. Despite being young, they have a passion for research, creativity, and understanding of social and scientific issues, contributing to the country's development," Khang said.

Vu Ha Anh from Reigate Grammar School Vietnam, winner of the Speak To Inspire Vietnam debate, said that she and all the students were well aware that they were only beginning their successes on a journey to conquer knowledge and science.
"It is necessary to promote what has been achieved to reach the peaks of intellect, update skills, and further train ourselves to become useful citizens in the future. I always try my best to find effective learning methods. I feel joy in learning and enjoy pride in getting good results," she said.
Previously, she received many prizes in speaking, debating, and English.

At the ceremony, the students who won the first prizes and gold medals at national and international competitions in the 2021-2022 school year were awarded letters of commendation, laurel wreaths, commendation logos, and bonuses.
Do Ngoc Bao Linh from Hoang Mai Primary School, who won a gold medal at the Thailand International Mathematic Olympiad 2022's national finals, was happy to receive the highest prize.
"The examinations are quite hard, but I tried to learn my best. Thanks to the experience last year, when I got the bronze medal, I gained a better result this year," said Linh.

Le Minh Quy from Newton Grammar School said, "I love English and Maths, so I always look for contests related to these subjects to try and improve myself and enhance my confidence. I feel so happy without any stress about joining the contests. In the future, I would like to focus on IT to create more technologies and values for life."
Quy won the gold medal at the Singapore International Math Contests Centre, one of the largest academic contest organisers in Asia. His passions are examinations and Maths and English contests.

Luong Huong Giang from Hanoi Amsterdam High School, who won gold in the Internet Olympiads of English at the national level, was happy and proud of the prize.
"Studying is my favourite thing, and I often set targets for myself. Although the prize is modest, my efforts have been recognised, and I am satisfied. I will find some more contests to reach new peaks and improve myself," said Giang.
