The 16th Annual Conference of Asian Science Parks Association (ASPA)is taking place in Ho Chi Minh City during October 24-26 .

This is an ideal opportunity for commercial and investment networking between Vietnamese and Asian communities of S&T and hi-tech companies, as well as knowledge sharing and learning, and experience exchanges in science park and hi tech development between intellectuals, scientists and managers of Vietnam and ASPA members.

This event is also a chance for Ho Chi Minh City to introduce Vietnam’s development of science and technology to Asia regional and international friends, especially to all leaders from Asian Science Parks.

ASPA is an international nongovernmental organization that was established in 1997 in Japan with the purpose to accomplish joint development of scientific technology, industry and economy in Asia.

ASPA is trying to present a new paradigm for Asian industry and economy, while expanding the consensus among members of scientific technology promotion organisations from Asian countries.

In detail, its efforts include holding annual conference for the exchange of experience and information through the ASPA international secretariat, sharing various industry and economy-related resources and information through networking among innovative organisations.

ASPA has 108 members, including two in Vietnam Saigon Hi-tech Park and Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park.

Themed “science parks toward green economy”, the conference this year includes two keynote speeches and 25 speeches to be taken place in parallel.
