Making ethnic minority costumes for dolls

Artist Nguyen Hoang Anh in Hoang Mai district, Hanoi, has designed and made thousands of dolls wearing the traditional costumes of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minority groups, which are on display in his 40 sq m room.

Following the success of the Traditional Japanese dolls exhibition in 2013, the Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam is set to organise the second edition of its kind from July 11 to August 10 in Hanoi.
