Experts at the “Comprehensive approach for treatment of snoring and sleep apnea syndrome” conference that took place in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho on July 20 said that 8.5 per cent of Vietnam’s population suffer from sleep apnea, a disease that can lead to strokes and a tripling of mortality risk over 15 years.
