The 10th day of the Lunar New Year, also known as the God of Wealth Day, people have been queuing up to buy gold each year, hoping for luck and prosperity for the year.

Many gold designs have been introduced today to customers in the form of bars and coins inscribed with the mascot of the year, God of Wealth, lucky charms bearing the symbol for Phuc (Happiness), Loc (Prosperity), Tho (Longevity), and Tai (Wealth), the 12 zodiac animals, or spiritual figurines.

Le Tri Thong, general director of PNJ said that the product designs have been prepared since the middle of last year.

At the same time, small gold trading enterprises also introduce their own gold designs for the God of Wealth Day. In Bao Tin Minh Hai, in addition to 24-karat gold figurines, there are also feng shui products for luck, such as cards of jade stone coated with gold.
