According to Nguyen Thi Thuy Binh, CEO of Vietjet Thailand, as part of Vietjet Group, the corporation will be the link connecting Thai and Vietnamese tourists.
“We are always willing to contribute to the growth of Thai tourism and the economy as a whole by various activities promoting the destinations, culture, and tourism of the country,” Binh said at the ceremony.
The second aircraft wearing the logo of The Amazing Thailand Tourism Year 2018 will accompany the campaign throughout all journeys.
“Together with the Thailand Tourism campaign, we will further extend our flight network not only domestically, but also to international destinations in Vietnam and in the region, bringing more chances for local and inbound travelers to enjoy the amazing journeys here,” Binh added.
Thai Minister of Tourism and Sports Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul stated that Thailand appreciates Vietjet’s proactivity and enthusiasm in supporting the Amazing Thailand Tourism Year 2018 campaign.
“We believe that our collaboration will deliver positive contributions to the growth of tourism and the economies of Thailand and Vietnam. By the Amazing Thailand Tourism Year 2018 campaign, we will further establish better connectivity between our countries and people,” said Wattanavrangkul.

To deliver on its commitment to further promote Thailand, Vietjet Group has recently introduced two new international routes connecting Phuket and Chiang Mai with Vietnam’s largest tourism and economic hub, Ho Chi Minh City. The new routes, which will be in operation from December 2017, are expected to meet the increasing travel demand between the two countries.
