Starwood to manage Dalat resort

United States-based Starwood Group has inked a deal with Robin Hill Resort Limited Company, a subsidy of SaigonInvest Group, to manage Sheraton Dalat Resort.

The $25 million resort got off the ground in February, 2007 and was to cover 17 hectares. The resort is expected to come online in 2014.

According to SaigonInvest Group, the five-star resort is a part of Saigon-Lam Dong tourism and entertainment area, to be developed in line with the economic cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City and Lam Dong province.

SaigonInvest Group is a public enterprise in hi-tech parks development in Vietnam, operating in various fields of real estate, IT, finance and banking. Presently, the group owns and manages 20 industrial parks, hi-tech parks and scores of large-scaled projects across Vietnam with the total investment of over $2 billion.

Starwood Group is one of the leading hotel and leisure companies in the world with more than 940 properties in approximately 97 countries and 145,000 employees at its owned and managed properties.
