Cornerstone set for leasing fever

Property consultants CB Richard Ellis Vietnam and Savills Vietnam have both landed exclusive marketing agent roles for new $50 million Cornerstone Building in Hanoi.

With investment from Vietnam International Bank, the VIB-NGT project is the first new grade A development to come on line in Hoan Kiem inner district since 2009.

The 15-storey tower offers a total upper floor area of approximately 36,000 square metres. There are also three basements with a total area of about 14,000sqm and a ground floor retail space totalling some 2,000sqm.

The internal areas of the property, the façade and the outside landscaping were designed by international design and architecture company DWP of Australia.

VIB-NGT has strived to match the quality of the property to its location and have employed service providers of international reputation, including Archipel (France), DWP (Australia), CBRE and Savills, Delta and Vinaconex 2.

The development will occupiers residents with a modern working environment fit for major companies.

The properties flexible floor plans offer a wide variety of sizes from approximately 100sqm up to whole floors of up to 1,892sqm for small, medium and large companies.

It also provides occupiers with expansion capabilities, making Cornerstone Building an ideal for match the success of growing companies.

Nathan Cumberlidge, associate director of CB Richard Ellis Vietnam, said that the style, location and quality of the project made it the number one choice in Hoan Kiem District.

Meanwhile Patrick Gidney, associate director of Savills Vietnam commented that the developer’s detailed preparation work, in particular in design and in the appointment of such a strong international project team, would undoubtedly ensure that the leasing of the building was a huge success.
