The last thing one anyone’s mind when the first of the Cu Chi tunnels was dug in the late 1940’s was their appeal to visiting tourists. However, in the thirty eight years since the cessation of hostilities, the Cu Chi tunnels have emerged as one of Saigon’s leading tourist attractions.
