World leaders urge cooperation in vaccine hunt, raise US$8 billion

BRUSSELS: World leaders called on Monday (May 4) for cooperation not competition in the quest for a coronavirus vaccine, as they pledged €7.4 billion (US$8.1 billion) at a fundraising telethon snubbed by the United States.
