Indonesia’s digital economy sector generates 1.75 billion USD in tax revenue

The tax revenue from the digital economy sector in Indonesia reached 27.85 trillion IDR (1.75 billion USD) from 2022 to the end of August 2024, according to the Taxation Directorate General under the country’s Finance Ministry.
Tax revenue up 4.4 per cent year-on-year in January

Tax revenue in January was estimated at 165.7 trillion VND (7.06 billion USD), or 12.1 per cent of the ordinance estimate, up 4.4 per cent year-on-year, the General Department of Taxation reported on January 31.
E-payments account for 95 percent of tax revenue

Total import-export tax revenue collected through e-payments reached VND191.15 trillion (US$9.2 billion), accounting for 95 per cent of the total tax revenue to the State budget, from January 1, 2018 to September 5, 2018.
