Special consumption taxes must be designed to suit Vietnam’s specific needs

The draft amended Law on Special Consumption Tax has more clearly defined the subjects of tax, not subject, and taxpayers. The draft has also expanded the subjects and increased the tax rate for some beverage products that are considered harmful to health.
