The head office of La Gan Wind Power Development Corporation was officially opened in the south-central province of Binh Thuan last week, showing a commitment to the Vietnamese market.

Representatives of global energy company AES Corporation and PetroVietnam Gas JSC (PV Gas), a member of Vietnam’s oil and gas giant PetroVietnam, have just signed a joint venture agreement for the Son My liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal located in Binh Thuan province in south central Vietnam.

The 2020 Kate festival is scheduled to take place in Phan Thiet city of the south central province of Binh Thuan on October 15-16, the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has announced.

The authorities of the central province of Binh Thuan on Sunday granted in-principle licences to 11 investment projects with total capital of VND23 trillion (US$990 million).

Creating a new motivation for attracting more investment capital, realising the development strategy of Mui Ne National Tourist Area, and enhancing the movement of capital from megacities to localities are the key goals that Binh Thuan province wishes to address at the incoming Investment Promotion Conference on September 22. Chairman of Binh Thuan People’s Committee Nguyen Ngoc Hai talked with VIR’s Ngoc Tuan about the province’s strategic solutions to attain a breakthrough in investment flows.
