The Swedish Pavilion is showcasing innovative green solutions at the ongoing Green Economy Forum and Exhibition (GEFE) 2024, aiming to boost cooperation between the two countries towards net-zero.

Organised by the Embassy of Sweden and Business Sweden, this pavilion is designed to meet Vietnam’s urgent needs in sustainability and the circular economy, as outlined in Prime Minister's Decision No.450/QD-TTg.

This event connects Vietnamese leaders with Swedish companies, offering a platform to explore valuable partnerships that can enhance Vietnam’s green initiatives. Attendees will gain insights from industry experts and discover practical solutions tailored to local challenges.

Focusing on renewable energy, reducing emissions, the circular economy, and new technologies, the pavilion aims to help Vietnam strengthen its global position and pull in investment.

Swedish Ambassador Johan Ndisi said, "The Swedish Pavilion shows our dedication to sustainability. We want to inspire deeper collaboration between Sweden and Vietnam for a greener future."

“Sweden also aims for net-zero emissions by 2045. We are proud to share our journey and best practices with Vietnam. Collaboration is key to tackling climate change, and we aim to connect Swedish companies with key stakeholders in Vietnam’s sustainable development market,” he said.

Additionally, on October 21 the Embassy launched the "Sweden-Vietnam Business Footprint," highlighting the strong partnership between the two countries and the contributions of Swedish companies in Vietnam.

The Swedish Pavilion is more than just an exhibition; it’s a space for collaboration to support Vietnam’s green transition, featuring key leading companies such as Atlas Copco, Ecolearn, Ericsson, H&M, Hitachi Energy, Husqvarna, and Trelleborg - all committed to promoting sustainable practices for shared success.

GEFE 2024 hosted by the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham) is taking place on October 21-23 in Ho Chi Minh City. Under the theme Building Green Futures,” GEFE shines a spotlight on the vital role of the international community in supporting Vietnam’s journey towards a green economy.

As the second most innovative nation in the world, Sweden is home to some of the most pioneering and innovative companies. Discover cutting-edge solutions in this pavilion from Swedish 5G, smart grids, and energy storage systems to polymer solutions, food packages, generators, and pumps that boost efficiency and climate resilience, supporting Vietnam's sustainable development goals.
