In receiving the award, Phuc Khang Corporation (PKC) had to meet such comprehensive environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria as compliance with environmental protection laws, regulations, and standards, among other related issues.

PKC sees itself as a pioneer in developing green-buildings with a vision of “the leading brand name of authentic green real estate under international standards in Vietnam” by 2035. Over the past 15 years of development, PKC pursued the mission “Pioneering and promoting the creation of a better lifestyle for public health and a sustainable humanistic ecological environment in accordance with global green standards.”
PKC's green buildings meet strict standards such as LEED (US GC Council) and LOTUS (Vietnam GC Council), meeting criteria including energy and water efficiency, reduced emissions, and the quality of the environment inside and outside.

PKC recently announced its comprehensive ESG strategy, developing a roadmap for its brands to overcome barriers and improve competitiveness on its way to becoming a comprehensively green business with long-lasting values.
The company's leadership team, including CEO Luu Thi Thanh Mau, has been an early adopter of the global green trends. Mau is a key member of the Vietnam Green Growth Council - a member organisation of the World Green Growth Council. She has engaged with green-growth experts on several aspects of the green economy, as well as working with international partners from Japan, Singapore, US, Philippines, and Indonesia. As a result, she claims to have accumulated a valuable amount of knowledge and experience.
Mau has been a keynote speaker at numerous domestic and international forums and scientific symposiums to promote green urban area planning and development. She has also participated in discussions and provided recommendations to policymakers about green buildings, sustainable development, and the circular economy.

PKC organises regular training sessions on applying green principles to development, including sustainable consumption of water, energy, and materials.
PKC also spreads ecological thinking and green living to the broader community, particularly the young generation. Some notable initiatives are Green Study Tours, awarding scholarships, and promoting and expanding green knowledge among university students both in Vietnam and abroad. The developer also hosts field trips to its green building projects, provides internships at the company, and supports and sponsors competitions focused on innovative landscape design and low-carbon architecture.
Becoming a truly “green business” is not just about meeting the criteria set by an organising committee; it is a long journey that requires a well-thought-out strategy from the beginning, coupled with the consistent spread of ecological thinking, green culture, and green living. Therefore, the title of “Green Business” is also a significant milestone on the path toward a sustainable future that Phuc Khang has set and continues to work toward.
