Tay Ninh - A recent crackdown on a drug trafficking ring from Cambodia to Vietnam led to the arrest of a woman and the seizure of around 2kg of synthetic drugs in the southeastern province of Tay Ninh, the local police said on July 4.
Besides, the force also confiscated 25 million VND (over 980 USD), an electronic scale, and many other things related to the case while raiding the house of Nguyen Thi Mai, 48, in Truong Dong commune, Hoa Thanh district, on July 3.
Mai said she bought the drugs from a Cambodian via Telegram platform, then sold them in small packages to addicts in Hoa Thanh and other localities.
The police are expanding investigations.
