On January 15, the interdisciplinary delegation in Hadong district, Hanoi has dispatched 100 workers to demolish Thanh Ha Water Park, located in Phu Luong ward, invested by Cienco 5 Land.

In a talk with media, vice chairman of Phu Luong ward, Hadong district, Duong Ngoc Thoa said that the reason for the order is that Thanh Ha Water Park does not have a construction permit. Phu Luong ward implements the measure under the direction of Hadong District People's Committee.

Earlier, on December 24 last year, Hadong District People's Committee issued a decision to force the implementation of remedial measures at Thanh Ha Water Park. It ordered the coercion for Cienco 5 Land at Lot A2.2 CCDDT01, Thanh Ha in Cienco urban area with 19 buildings violating regulations dismantled, such as the river, wave pool, slide system, fountain, or the operator room.

Thanh Ha Water Park is advertised as the largest water park, four-season swimming pool, and gymnasium complex in the capital, built on an area of 3 hectares with a total of nine categories of adventure games, speed games, and zones reserved for families and children.

Thanh Ha Water Park officially opened its gates to guests in June 2019. However, as of the end of September last year, the park had to stop operations after two children drowned short after it was launched.
