EuroCham to host Green Economy Forum & Exhibition

The European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham Vietnam) will host the Green Economy Forum & Exhibition (GEFE) in Ho Chi Minh City from November 28-30.

This event will advance EU-Vietnam sustainable development cooperation through comprehensive dialogue, investment coordination, knowledge sharing, and technology transfer.

GEFE 2022’s primary goal is to support Vietnam in meeting its COP26 commitments and accomplish the development goals outlined in its National Green Growth Strategy for 2021-2030. Academics, innovators, students, and policymakers from Europe, Vietnam, and Southeast Asia will participate in panel discussions, an exhibition, and business-to-business and business-to-government discussions during this ambitious three-day event.

Top discussions at GEFE 2022 will be Energy and Green Financing, Waste & Sustainability, and Innovation & Entrepreneurship.

On October 3, the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency, under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, signed a memorandum of understanding with EuroCham for co-organising GEFE 2022 and strengthening links between Vietnamese and European business communities.

As part of its agreement with EuroCham, the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency will provide support in recruiting Vietnamese companies and exhibitors for GEFE 2022 and its Vietnamese National Pavilion.
