Vietnam's labour market showed impressive recovery momentum after the pandemic's peak. Most production and business activities have returned to normal.
According to a survey among businesses in the Top 500 Vietnamese employers and Top 10 workplaces in Vietnam 2022, 32.8 per cent of surveyed businesses believe that the labour market has recovered fully. Meanwhile, 26.3 per cent believe that the labour market has had very positive changes in structure and job demand.
Among the many bright spots in the number of jobs created, workers’ income has also returned to the level of the pre-pandemic period or even higher.
Businesses in the Top 500 Vietnamese employers and Top 10 workplaces in Vietnam 2022 focus on creating a good working environment, especially paying attention to employee remuneration. They also consistently improve competitiveness by building a prestigious brand, culture, and core values.
Within the framework of the event, Viet Research will organise a seminar with the theme “Creating a good workplace – The key to sustainable development.” The seminar will see the participation of experts in human resources, branding, and communications.
At the seminar, participants will discuss the prospects of the economy, trends in the labour market, and the working environment after the pandemic.
Facing the competitive pressure of the labour market and the trend for artificial intelligence in the workplace, employees have become more aware of cultivating knowledge and skills. They increasingly pay attention to companies not only having good salaries, but also a good working environment and ensuring responsibility to the community.
To effectively mobilise and use Vietnam's labour resources, policymakers need to enact supporting policies leading employers in building a professional, efficient, modern, and sustainable working environment.
