Ho Chi Minh City kicks off Golden Racket tournament 2012
The 26th Golden Racket International Table Tennis Tournament – Eximbank Cup 2012 officially opened at the Phan Dinh Phung Sporting Hall in Ho Chi Minh City on October 31st.

The championship attracted the participation of 62 players from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong (China), the Republic of Korea and the host Vietnam to compete in categories of men and women's singles and doubles.
Final rounds are scheduled to take place on November 2nd and 3rd. On the opening day, Vietnam A and Ho Chi Minh City teams entered the semi-final of the men’s and women's doubles, respectively.
The tournament is a good chance for domestic players to promote their skills to prepare for upcoming national and international events.
