KinderWorld believes that digitalisation creates new opportunities to grow and to create competitive advantages and accordingly it would be essential for companies to be pragmatic and open to digital transformation. The group has continuously invested resources to harness technology to improve work processes, enhance productivity, and promote organisational efficiency.

KinderWorld is also committed to continue to enhance value for students and will continuously introduce new learning initiatives and technology immersion for their schools. Their highly qualified and experienced teachers come from all over the world to prepare their students to become global citizens.

To prepare for Industry 4.0, the group features STEM education referring to the integrated teaching and learning in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics they have adopted. STEM learning creates a future-oriented learning environment where students are nurtured to think critically and solve problems – skills that can be used throughout life.

KinderWorld’s schools have established a strategic framework for a high-quality STEM base to deliver lessons that include AI and robotics by teaming up with leading international STEM education providers.

Responding to such efforts, the group has shared that a team of four students from IGCSE 2 Science Class at Singapore International School at Vung Tau have won gold certificates in the Cambridge Upper Secondary Science Competition 2020 – a competition launched by Cambridge International.

The competition involved hundreds of teams worldwide each supported by a teacher, spending 20-25 hours on a science project with practical or investigation work outside of normal curriculum time.

Additionally, to meet the higher requirements on e-learning, KinderWorld chooses to collaborate with Marshall Cavendish Online, a leading regional provider of K-12 educational solutions to more than 60 countries, as an e-learning platform which complements their curriculum and provides a platform to support online learning to their students.

Through its rich repository of curriculum-based digital content, Marshall Cavendish Education offers ready access to high-quality educational resources for both teachers and students. Comprising interactive activities infused with colourful graphics and engaging animations, its digital content helps make teaching and learning fun and effective.

Innovative highlights

The group aims to further develop its educational programmes by co-oporating with the NCC Education, a global provider of British education through its global network of Accredited Partner Centres in more than 50 countries. The NCC Education Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies is a one-year pre-university qualification that will commence from the new school year and replaces the Global Assessment Certificate that is currently being offered to our students.

This qualification prepares students with essential English language skills, key transferable study skills, cultural knowledge, and chosen specialisms that universities feel bridges the gap between high school and undergraduate study. Students can progress with confidence for further studies with over 70 universities across the globe.

Furthermore, the group offers Dynamic Education (DynEd) programme from the US, the world’s most comprehensive lineup of award-winning English language teaching solutions. Over 25 million learners from 70 countries have benefitted from DynEd since 1987. DynEd brings brain-based multimedia English learning solutions built on insights and best-practice research of cognitive psychology and neuroscience supported by the use of Speech Recognition technology.

DynEd will replace the current English Proficiency Programme for their students. The Recursive Hierarchical Recognition approach in DynEd follows innovative language-acquisition principles which allow students to master the English language in a much shorter length of time. This programme will commence from the start of the new school year.

International values

With its roots established in Singapore in 1986, KinderWorld International Group today offers holistic education programmes from preschool to high school and university foundation. The group believes that education should equip students with essential knowledge and skills needed for a technology-driven and globalised world and at the same time further develop in students desired core values like filial piety, respect, diligence and a strong sense of community service to make them future-ready. The students’ excellent achievement reflects KinderWorld’s ability to provide quality education and prepare students for life-long learning and global citizenship.

KinderWorld International Kindergarten (KIK) offers preschool education for children aged 18 months to six years old through the International and Integrated programmes. KIK focuses on the well-rounded development of children and prepares for success at primary schools, setting a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Meanwhile its Singapore International School (SIS) offers primary to high school education, also through the International and Integrated programmes for foreign and Vietnamese students. They believe in a holistic approach and providing students with a learning environment to stimulate their minds and develop an inquiring mind. SIS is committed to continuously ensure the quality of its education programmes through well-known accreditation agencies. Primary school students take the Singapore international Primary School Leaving Examination (iPSLE), while secondary students take the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examinations at the end of the primary and secondary school years, respectively.

Students may choose to take Cambridge International A-Level examinations which prepares them for universities across the world or the International Foundation Diploma (IFD) which provides access to universities worldwide.

Campus expansion

KinderWorld International Group believes its extensive experience in operating international schools at a high standard, together with the trust that they have gained from students, parents, and teachers, propelled them to become the largest owner-operator of foreign-invested international schools business in Vietnam. This will position the group well to further increase market share in Vietnam and enhance their brand awareness as they enter into new geographical markets with strong demand for high-quality education.

They also intend to strengthen their market leadership position in Vietnam by further entrenching themselves and opening more schools in major cities such as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The group has grown to offer forward looking programmes embracing innovative teaching styles in creative and challenging environments.
