Joint venture company Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP), a leading industrial park and urban developer in Vietnam, and the VSIP Management Board raised $50,000 at their annual 2013 Charity Day.

The VSIP Charity Day on May 11-12 drew in tenants and their workers to raise funds to support underprivileged and low-income people in southern Binh Duong province, where the company is based.

Anthony Tan, deputy general director of the company, said the Charity Day was held annually as a playground for the workers in order to strengthen relations between VSIP and its tenants and partners. The event was first launched in 2003.

In 2013, the VSIP Charity Fund will continue to be used to support the underprivileged, provide scholarships to needy students in Binh Duong and run the VSIP Community Clinic in the province.
