US mattress manufacturer Spring Air International enters Vietnam

Under this agreement, LMG will produce and distribute all Spring Air brands, including its signature Back Supporter line and high-end Chattam & Wells line, throughout these markets.

The agreement brings Spring Air to more than 40 countries in the world

Spring Air’s products will be displayed for sale at LMG’s showroom in Sala City, District 2 of Ho Chi Minh City. LMG will produce mattresses with the brand of Spring Air at AmericanStar Group’s 12-hectare factory located in Dong Nai province – one of the hearts of the manufacturing supply chain for mattresses.

According to Nick Bates, chairman of Spring Air, this agreement helps expand the US company's international market in one of the major business areas of the mattress manufacturing sector in the whole region. AmericanStar Group is now operating one of the largest mattress factories based in Vietnam and is actively expanding its business in Vietnam as well as around the globe.

Lee Hinshaw, AmericanStar Group’s chief commercial officer, said that US bedding brands are hunted by many consumers throughout Southeast Asia, and Spring Air is an important addition to the company's portfolio.

“The history of the Spring Air company and the unique features and benefits of the Spring Air brands will resonate well with consumers in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia,” he said.

Spring Air is a leading international brand, ranking among the top 10 manufacturers of bedding products in the world.

AmericanStar Group has deep insights on the US mattress market through its relations with a number of US bedding producers, including Therapedic (as Therapedic’s licensee for Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand), Kluft, Aireloom, and Brentwood Home.

The company has also partnered with Latexco, which has facilities in the United States.

AmericanStar also has a "Made in the United States" line, which it sells in the US and also ships to Vietnam, where it is distributed in LMG stores.
