Dong A Plastic JSC, Daeheung FSC to produce aluminium composite door together

Dong A Plastic JSC (DAG) on May 27 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with South Korean company Daeheung FSC Composite Window Group on cooperation in manufacturing aluminium composite doors with new material in Vietnam.

Under the MoU, DAG will invest around $10 million in the production and will supply 80.000 – 100.000 square metres of all types of doors to the market per year. Revenue from these doors will reach $30 million per year by 2020.

Aluminium composite doors’ advantages include sound and temperature resistance and natural wooden colors. They are also produced from soft environmentally friendly recycled material, saving energy by up to 30 per cent. In South Korea the technology is widely used in doors and glass walls with reasonable price. Daeheung received an exclusive license for this technology.

In Vietnam, DAG is the pioneer in manufacturing plastics products for construction industry, interior and exterior decoration and advertising. Its products include plastic aluminium doors with the brand Smartwindow and Smartdoor.

Daeheung FSC Composite Window Group accounts for 90 per cent of the market of green-tech aluminium composite doors in Korea. This group is also the sole supplier for Korean government buildings.
