Home Credit was voted as the best financial company by consumers |
The award was handed out within the framework of the annual Vietnam Outstanding Banking Awards 2017 organised in Hanoi on December 15. Home Credit is the only financial firm to have received such an award related to consumer lending.
Home Credit was the first foreign company to start operating in the Vietnamese consumer finance market nine years ago. It is now one of the biggest companies in Vietnam, offering consumer lending packages with three main products, including motorbike purchase loans, loans for buying home appliances and electronics items, and cash-based loans.
Recently, Home Credit has also launched new products in the educational sector (in co-operation with Wall Street English) and the healthcare sector (with California Fitness and Yoga Centres). This month, Home Credit will launch its new credit card product offering many incentives for existing customers.
Last month, the company unveiled its new brand name identity set, further strengthening its people-oriented business strategy.
Headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, Home Credit has a branch in Hanoi and 10 representative offices in other cities and provinces.
Starting operations in Vietnam in 2009, Home Credit currently has a huge network of more than 7,000 locations across all cities and provinces of the country to introduce its services.
With more than 10,000 employees, Home Credit has been serving 6.76 million customers to date.
