ANZ voted best foreign FX products and services provider in Vietnam

This is the fifth consecutive year ANZ has achieved the title in Vietnam. ANZ was ranked best in four categories: overall FX services, FX products and services, FX options and FX research and market coverage.

“The prestigious award recognises our commitment to deliver the best products to our clients with our local expertise, strength in home markets of Australia and New Zealand and our network with a focus in Asia. Maintaining our leadership position in this space five years in a row is a strong testament,” said Dennis Hussey, ANZ Vietnam’s CEO.

According to ANZ Vietnam’s head of Markets, Phan Thi Thanh Binh, Vietnam has consistently recorded strong trade growth and is becoming increasingly integrated with international markets, therefore it’s very important for foreign exchange providers to continuously equip themselves with local and global knowledge, insights and understanding to seize opportunities and manage risks. “We are very proud of our people’s hard work to bring our clients the best banking services recognised and voted for by the clients themselves,” she said.

In this year’s Asiamoney FX Poll, ANZ won many strong rankings in several categories across countries in which it operates, including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, and Singapore.

The Asiamoney FX poll invites senior treasury and financial executives from large corporates, small to medium sized enterprises, banks, fund management firms, and other financial institutions to participate.

ANZ has been operating in Vietnam since 1993 and was one of the first foreign banks to establish a presence here. In addition to FX awards, ANZ also won the title “Best Trade Finance Bank in Vietnam” in the Global Finance’s World’s Best Trade Finance Providers Awards 2016 and in The Asset magazine’s Triple A Treasury, Trade and Risk Management Awards 2016.

ANZ was also recognised for product innovation in transaction services in Greater Mekong with automated collections, reconciliation and virtual account solution in the Global Finance’s The Innovators 2016. ANZ was named “Best Trade Finance Client Solution in Vietnam” in 2016 and “Best Risk Management Bank” in 2015 by The Asset magazine.
