As the first and most professional survey in Vietnam specialising in the measurement of the working environment, quality and attractiveness of employers’ brand of large enterprises, the “Vietnam 100 Best Places To Work” annual survey has been conducted since 2013.
“According to modern trends, a workplace that meets the expectations of the workforce in general and Vietnam in particular will be a flexible, dynamic and autonomic space. Employees here can be productive anywhere, anytime while maintaining a work-life balance. And the working environment at Microsoft Vietnam perfectly meets these expectations. Unlike large corporations, transformation usually occurs in a long period, in Microsoft and particularly Microsoft Vietnam, transformation is only an issue to help leaders and employees temper to be stronger,” Duong Thi Kim Anh, director of Human Resources, Microsoft Vietnam said.
Apart from the top position in the technology sector category, Microsoft Vietnam was named in the Top 2 and Top 3 in the overall category of Growth Opportunity, Culture & Value, and Leadership.
"According to Microsoft Vietnam’s partners and employees, Microsoft deserves the title because in here, in addition to an environment with the most modern equipment and solutions, the culture of sustainable trust maintains and develops. At Microsoft, opportunities have always been to support the development on innovative platforms. We have been creating a work place where employees can contribute personal ideas and share a common passion: Create technologies to transform the world," said Vu Minh Tri, general director of Microsoft Vietnam.
Microsoft Vietnam increasingly becomes more attractive to the youth, since the company still maintains Microsoft Intern to Mach and YouthSpark programmes, which help cultivate young talents, helping them access employment opportunities and shine, sprout dreams and drive talents. With its $3-million investment in YouthSpark programme in Vietnam, Microsoft continuously invests to support, find and develop young talents, particularly girls and adolescents in disadvantaged situations.
The annual survey was updated and improved with in-depth measurement methods based on the criteria that were closest to professions. In addition to giving the latest trends in career motivation and employer branding in Vietnam, the survey also showed results in detail of “Vietnam 100 Best Places To Work” according to their industries and specific key factors.
From October 2015 and January 2016, “Vietnam 100 Best Places To Work” survey in 2015 received online responses from nearly 11,000 employees of 24 industries across the country. More than 100 companies with approximately 2,000 employees in the ICT industry took part in the survey.
