The move aims to create conditions for the younger generation to develop their potential, creating positive value for the community.

These agreements focus on key goals such as supporting the development of young talent and youth startups, promoting sporting and cultural activities, highlighting the need for healthy lifestyles, and encouraging young people to play an active role in environmental protection.

Having teamed up with the Central Youth Union to expedite a series of activities to support the development of young talent, SABECO is accompanying young people to form business startups, supporting their livelihoods, training, and capacity building.

Accordingly, a series of capacity-building activities have been launched across the country over the past two years, spreading from Lao Cai to Ha Nam, Quang Ngai, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, and Can Tho, creating a springboard to enable more than 500 rural youths to start businesses and contribute to local economic development.

Young examples with excellent achievements have been swiftly honoured by businesses through the Luong Dinh Cua Award, which was initiated by the Central Youth Union to champion young people who are involved in rural business development.

The Fostering Sports project is an outstanding initiative that is run in cooperation with the Central Youth Union.

During the three years from 2022 to 2024, the project commits to supporting the upgrade of 30 community sports fields in 30 localities nationwide.

To date, SABECO and the Fostering Sports project have completed one third of this journey, with 10 spacious football fields handed over to provinces including Thai Binh, Khanh Hoa, Bac Giang, Binh Dinh, Tuyen Quang, Dak Lak, Soc Trang, Dong Thap, Thanh Hoa, and Nghe An.

Completing phase 1 last August, the project made its mark by spreading the spirit of sport and promoting healthy and active lifestyles in the community with the Beer Saigon Cup Youth Football Tournament 2023 in Thai Binh province. The event drew the participation of 10 football teams from localities where the project is present.

SABECO has also accompanied the Vietnamese sports delegation at SEA Games 32, awarding more than $120,000 to athletes who won Gold Medals.

In addition, to support Vietnam's green growth goals and the national programme on new rural construction for the period from 2021 to 2025, SABECO and the Central Youth Union have effectively implemented the Light Up Rural Areas project nationwide.

Last year, it announced the completion of 34km of street lighting, contributing to bringing a safer living environment to hundreds of thousands of households where the project is implemented and indirectly supporting thousands of people in neighbouring areas. This will be extended by a further 39km in the next phase of the project.

Along with this, in parallel with supporting young people, SABECO focuses on promoting programmes that are dedicated to its personnel.

For Lunar New Year 2023, the company contributed to bringing a warmer holiday period to employees in many localities with 8,000 gifts including cash and other necessities.

As global economic uncertainties are affecting Vietnam's rebound process, for the 2024 Lunar New Year, SABECO is sparing no effort to expedite its Sharing Tet for a Prosperous Year of the Dragon offering, with more than 10,000 Lunar New Year gifts to be given to people in 25 localities nationwide from January 6 to February 5.

The Lunar New Year programme not only honours Vietnam's traditional culture, which always focuses on family and relatives in the spirit of solidarity and reunion, but also spreads the message of businesses looking forward to the new year being better for everyone.
