Fushi Tech unveils AI agent strategy targeting overseas merchants

span style font size 14pt Fushi Tech a subsidiary of Yeahka unveiled an AI agent strategy designed to help overseas merchants streamline operations and expand their digital capabilities span

SINGAPORE - Media OutReach Newswire - 20 May 2026 - Fushi Tech, a subsidiary of Yeahka (9923.HK), has announced a strategic upgrade with the launch of Fynix AI shop, a Full-stack AI Agent product purpose-built for overseas merchants.

Unlike conventional marketing tools or customer service systems, Fynix AI shop is designed to function as a genuine "digital employee" — one that actively participates in day-to-day business operations. It understands merchant needs, breaks down tasks, and executes them autonomously, supporting merchants across the full commercial cycle of customer acquisition, conversion, payment, and repeat purchases.

This is not simply a product update. It marks a fundamental shift in how merchants approach digital operations — and signals Fushi Tech's evolution from a traditional SaaS provider to an AI Agent platform.

AI Agents: The Next Generation of Business Infrastructure

Enterprise digitalisation has, for much of the past decade, remained largely at the tooling stage: merchants adopt SaaS tools and then operate manually. However, as large language models continue to mature, AI is shifting from an assistive tool to an autonomous executor.

The defining value of an AI Agent lies not in answering questions, but in its ability to understand purposes, call on the right tools, complete tasks end to end, and close the loop without human intervention. Across the global technology industry, AI Agents are increasingly seen as the next major shift in enterprise software.

According to IDC, investments in AI solutions and services are projected to yield a global cumulative impact of USD 22.3 trillion by 2030, representing approximately 3.7% of the global Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

The trend is already taking shape in international markets. Salesforce has launched Agentforce, while emerging players such as Sierra AI are attracting significant capital, with the industry broadly applying valuation multiples of 30 to 60 times ARR to leading companies. These figures reflect the market's long-term expectation in the commercial value of AI-powered employees.

For Fushi Tech, the launch of Fynix AI shop is also a response to a structural gap it has observed over years of serving merchants across Southeast Asia.

Many small and mid-sized merchants in the region still operate through fragmented digital systems — with point-of-sale, CRM, marketing, delivery, and customer service tools running in silos, data unable to flow between them, and key operational tasks still heavily dependent on manual effort. Merchants may have adopted software, but genuine gains in operational efficiency have remained elusive. AI Agents now make a unified operational hub possible for the first time.

Fushi Tech's goal is not to optimize isolated steps in the process, but to have AI directly execute business operations on the merchant's behalf. With AI Shop, merchants don't learn to operate software — they manage an employee. This shift reflects a broader transformation underway in enterprise services — from selling tools to delivering outcomes.

A growing consensus is also emerging across the AI industry: as the underlying capabilities of large models converge, the real differentiator is increasingly a company's ability to connect AI with real-world business.

Fushi Tech has positioned itself accordingly. Where many Western AI companies focus primarily on model capabilities and generative AI, Fushi Tech emphasizes deep integration across payments, CRM, and AI — keeping its offering close to the transaction itself.

Fynix AI shop is beyond a chatbot, it connects to a complete operational ecosystem: drawing on CRM data to understand customers, processing transactions through the payments infrastructure, and integrating with external platforms including WhatsApp, Telegram, Google, and delivery services.

This means AI is no longer simply capable of conversation — it is genuinely capable of doing business. And that is precisely the hardest part of bringing AI Agents to market at scale. The challenges extend well beyond algorithms, requiring engineering depth, merchant networks, payments infrastructure, and years of accumulated industry knowledge. In this sense, the companies best placed to build durable competitive advantages in AI may not be pure-play model providers, but those capable of embedding AI directly into real industry workflows.

From "SaaS Tool" to "AI Employee"

At the product level, Fynix AI shop exhibits the hallmarks of a digital employee, executing tasks autonomously across the merchant's full operational cycle. Its core capabilities include:

Content generation: Automatically creates menu pages, product listings, and marketing materials

Intelligent conversation: Guides customers through product recommendations, conversion, and order placement in a natural, sales-driven interaction

In-conversation payments: Completes transactions directly within the chat interface

Customer management: Builds and continuously refines consumer profiles using CRM data

Ecosystem integration: Connects with external tools including WhatsApp, Telegram, Google, and delivery services

Across the merchant journey, Fynix AI shop extends into use cases spanning store setup, customer acquisition, membership management, appointment booking, review management, and delivery platform integration.

In a customer re-engagement scenario, for instance, Fynix AI shop can automatically analyse purchase cycles, preferences, and dormancy patterns across the customer base, and provide campaign recommendations to the merchant. Once approved, the Agent generates the relevant vouchers and delivers personalized content to customers via the merchant app, Telegram, or other channels — tracking performance throughout.

In practice, merchants no longer need to manually review data, write copy, or repeatedly devise marketing strategies from scratch. Nor do they need to configure complex rules or adjust system parameters in the CRM backend. A single natural language instruction sets the entire workflow in motion — freeing merchants to focus on higher-level business decisions.

This reflects a deeper transformation that AI is bringing to the commercial world. Digitalization gave businesses better information. AI Agents are now giving them the ability to take action.

Whoever can genuinely help merchants get things done will be best positioned to own the next platform layer.

In that light, Fynix AI shop is more than a new product launch. It is an early attempt to define what enterprise services could look like in the years ahead — and a signal of where the industry is heading.

In fast-growing emerging markets like Southeast Asia, where digitalization among small and mid-sized merchants is still in its early stages, AI Agents may have the opportunity to leapfrog the traditional SaaS development curve and move directly into an era of intelligent operations.

For Yeahka, this also marks a meaningful evolution in its overseas strategy — from exporting payments capabilities alone, to delivering an integrated ecosystem spanning payments, data, and AI.

As AI takes an increasingly active role in business operations, the value chain of the enterprise services industry is being fundamentally redefined.

The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement.

Temus launched the Foundry aiming to hire 50 AI professionals to deliver production grade projects in financial services and precision health supporting national impact

SINGAPORE - Media OutReach Newswire - 20 May 2026 - Temus today launched an AI Foundry, supported by Digital Industry Singapore (DISG), to expand Singapore's AI talent base and strengthen production-grade AI delivery for enterprises.

(from Left to Right) Sng Ren Yeong, Chief Executive Officer, Temus; Kiren Kumar, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Development, Infocomm Media Development Authority; Philbert Gomez, Senior Vice President, Executive Director and Head, Digital Industry Singapore

The Foundry will hire, develop and deploy 50 Singapore-based AI professionals to build AI accelerators, governance frameworks, and delivery capabilities for enterprise AI.

Singapore's Economic Strategy Review (ESR), whose final report was published 13 May 2026, made clear that Singapore should be a place where AI generates measurable business and societal outcomes. With more than 70 AI Centres of Excellence already established across sectors, Temus' AI Foundry will build on these foundations to operationalise AI at production grade in response to that mandate - with the talent and delivery methods that translate AI ambition into live, enterprise projects.

Initial use-cases for the AI Foundry include –

An agentic AI copilot for a leading investment company

A secure, internally hosted AI knowledge assistant for a specialised financial institution

An AI-powered lead management system for a regional telecommunications provider

A multi-agent vulnerability management solution for a leading security and integrated services company

Notably, they illustrate how the AI Foundry will support enterprises across precision health and financial services, in line with Singapore's National AI Impact Programme (NAIIP).

"Singapore's AI opportunity is entering a new phase: From experimentation to execution," said Sng Ren Yeong, Chief Executive Officer, Temus. "Across industries, firms are exploring how AI can improve the way they work. With stronger data, governance and operating foundations, they can move forward with greater confidence and scale. Our AI Foundry is designed to support this next phase of AI-enabled transformation by building Singapore-based talent, codifying proven delivery methods, and enabling enterprises to turn AI ambition into lasting business impact."

Philbert Gomez, Senior Vice President, Executive Director and Head, Digital Industry Singapore, said: "We welcome the establishment of Temus's AI Foundry. Through their work with enterprises across sectors, the Foundry will enable key companies who have chosen Singapore to undertake core transformation that will be enabled by AI. This investment will also present Singaporeans an opportunity to gain experience through participating in transformation projects from sectors such as financial services and precision health. Singapore has strong propositions as a global AI hub for AI technology and service providers, and we look forward to more companies undertaking such efforts from here."

Talent as national AI asset

The ESR's recommendations also identified AI literacy and workforce transformation as a cross-cutting imperative, that AI adoption across the economy be tied to job redesign and skills upgrading, and that the gains from AI be shared fairly. The Foundry puts this principle into practice. Its 50 new roles — spanning AI architects, data scientists, AI/ML engineers, product owners, and full-stack, DevOps and UX engineers — will be embedded directly in live client work, building production-grade delivery capability while growing Temus' local talent base.

This builds on Temus' broader workforce transformation track record: Step IT Up, supported under IMDA's TechSkills Accelerator (TeSA)[1] initiative, has hired, placed and trained close to 80 Singaporean career-switchers into technology roles at a 100 per cent placement rate.

Deepening the AISG partnership

Temus and AI Singapore (AISG) have committed to deepening a partnership that began in April 2023, when the two organisations signed their inaugural MOU to accelerate AI innovation and adoption. The first agreement focused on catalysing digital transformation, promoting AI adoption, and developing new AI technologies for Singapore-based firms, including through AISG's flagship 100 Experiments (100E) programme.

Today's expanded partnership extends the collaboration into exploring joint prototypes, reusable delivery frameworks and enterprise deployments that bring nationally developed AI capabilities into real-world operating environments. The partnership will also support multilingual AI use cases and the practical application of Singapore-developed models in enterprise settings.

Dr Leslie Teo, Senior Director, AI Products, AI Singapore, said: "Singapore's AI ambition depends on tighter links between research, engineering and deployment. Our partnership with Temus is intended to help bridge that gap – by translating locally anchored model and product capabilities into enterprise use cases that can be governed, evaluated and deployed in practice."

Sutowo Wong, Managing Director, AI and Data, Temus, said: "We are pleased to deepen our partnership with AI Singapore and explore how nationally developed AI capabilities can be deployed into live enterprise environments. A capable model is just the start. In regulated settings, you also need sovereignty over your proprietary data, domain-specific context, and the infrastructure to move from prototype to production. That is the gap we want to close together."
[1] The TeSA initiative was launched in 2016 and has placed more than 24,300 locals into tech domains such as Software and Applications, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, AI and Analytics, 5G and upskilled more than 440,000 individuals with tech skills. TeSA is co-led by IMDA, SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG), Workforce Singapore (WSG) and the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC).
The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement.

More on https://temus.com/.

span style font size 14pt Domino s Malaysia turned an apparent radio glitch into a clever stunt celebrating its new brand idea Unbox Your Cravings unveiling the truth behind the viral moment span

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA - Media OutReach Newswire - 21 May 2026 - What seemed like an accidental on-air glitch during Era FM's Petang Era broadcast has been revealed as a cheeky stunt by Domino's Pizza Malaysia. During the live segment, the usual flow of the show came to a sudden halt, replaced by faint chatter and laughter drifting through the airwaves, leaving listeners both puzzled and curious.
<img alt="“Every craving is a calling. And cravings don’t wait”

It all started when Haziq mentioned his pizza craving with co-hosts Muna and Der. Then the aroma of freshly delivered pizzas drifted into the studio, and his craving got the better of him. He stepped out of the studio, while Muna and Der kept the show going, unaware that their mics were still on, leaving listeners to hear every bit of their conversation. The moment felt real, and it struck a chord with listeners nationwide.

Naturally, the internet had questions. Clips from the unexpected on-air moment quickly spread across social media, with listeners and creators reacting in real time to what many believed was an actual live radio slip-up.

"On-air can wait. Cravings can't"

Era FM eventually addressed the incident in a statement, explaining that listeners had accidentally overheard an off-air conversation between the DJs about a topic very close to their hearts and stomachs. "Our team always strives to deliver entertaining and engaging content for listeners, but sometimes the most authentic human moments naturally shine through," the station shared.

"Live radio is unpredictable, and sometimes, cravings simply get the better of you." Era FM also thanked listeners for embracing the moment in good spirit while encouraging continued support for Haziq, Muna, Der, and the entire Petang Era team.

What audiences may not have realised at the time is that the moment was part of Domino's Pizza Malaysia's introduction of its refreshed brand idea, 'Unbox Your Cravings.

A New Bold Direction Built Around Real Cravings

The 'Unbox Your Cravings' is built on a simple truth that cravings don't wait. They show up unexpectedly during work, study, gaming, or even live radio broadcasts. Domino's understands these cravings aren't tied to special occasions but to everyday, spontaneous urges when you deserve to reward yourself.

Cravings are emotional and hard to ignore, pulling you away from what you're doing and demanding your attention. Domino's encourages Malaysians to embrace these cravings and indulge in what they truly want without hesitation. By highlighting how cravings disrupt daily life, Domino's shows how treating yourself can turn an ordinary experience into something memorable.

Ringo Joannes, Region CEO of Domino's Pizza Malaysia, Singapore & Cambodia, shared, "Cravings are among the most honest signals we have. They are immediate, emotional, and impossible to ignore. With 'Unbox Your Cravings,' we wanted to reflect that truth in a way that feels real to people today. This is about recognising those small but meaningful moments when you choose to listen to what you want, instead of putting it off and being there, ready, when that decision is made."

Introducing Domino's New Thick Crunch Pizza : The first pizza to fill the whole box

As part of its brand refresh, Domino's Malaysia is introducing three exciting flavours of its latest innovation, the Thick Crunch Pizza. Inspired by Detroit-style pizzas and crafted to satisfy even the strongest cravings, this new offering features bold and indulgent options.

The New Thick Crunch Pizza is a bold new experience that is thick, airy, fluffy, and irresistibly crunchy, delivering a multi-textural bite pizza lovers have long been craving. We\'re pleased to see that across two cohorts, the Programme has attracted over 800 students and received more than 170 creative proposals. Starting from the community, students have turned what they learned into real action, proposing creative solutions and building prototypes to respond to community needs. Their performance is truly encouraging. We hope the Programme not only inspires young people\'s passion for social innovation but also encourages them to keep exploring and putting ideas into practice, bringing more positive impact to the community.\"

Ms Hsu Siu-man, Executive Director of HKFYG, emphasised that the programme is designed not as a one-off competition, but as a catalyst for long-term engagement. \"We are encouraged to see young people drawing inspiration not from textbooks, but from curiosity and empathy,\" she said. \"Last year\'s winning team \'Fruitful\' has already turned its idea into a social enterprise, with members continuing to deepen their expertise. This is what the programme stands for, a launchpad for those who want to make a lasting difference.\"

In the Junior Secondary Division, Christian & Missionary Alliance Sun Kei Secondary School won with \"Onederful,\" an eco-friendly packaging solution made from upcycled rice husks and coffee grounds. Developed by Tang Cheuk-wing, Law Mon-in, Har Lok-hin, Chan Ching-yan, Lee Hoi-kiu and Hung Tsz-hei, the team went through more than ten rounds of testing and hope that their biodegradable material will reduce landfill waste generated by e-commerce packaging.

The Senior Secondary Division Grand Award, which also won the \"My Favourite Team\" Award, went to S.K.H. St. Simon\'s Lui Ming Choi Secondary School for \"River Lord,\" a nature-based water purification system designed to address long-standing odour issues in the Tuen Mun River. Team members Wang Ming-fang, Cai Yu-yin, Gao Yan-yee, Yam Wing-yu and Chan Hoi-ning devised their idea by using zeolite to support naturally occurring nitrifying bacteria. The system converts ammonia into odourless nitrate, which is then absorbed by eel grass, a native plant that also releases oxygen into the water. The team\'s low-cost, scalable approach offers a practical pathway to improving urban water systems, with plans for field trials underway.

The Tertiary Division Grand Award went to a cross-university team from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, The Education University of Hong Kong, and City University of Hong Kong. Team members Lam Sze-ming, Leung Pui-ying, Yeung Tsz-ting, Chan Wai-chuen, Ho Tsz-yung and Chan Pak-yee observed that many newly arrived students were unconfident in speaking Cantonese, so they designed a Cantonese card game named \"CantoMore\" to enable these students to \"learn through play\" and build their confidence. It is hoped that this initiative will be adopted by local secondary schools in the future to help more students integrate into the community.

Each winning team will receive HK$20,000 and the opportunity to participate in a career immersion experience provided by Hang Seng Bank.
MicroAlgo develops quantum image edge extraction algorithm for noisy images

span style font size 14pt MicroAlgo proposed a quantum image edge extraction algorithm for noisy images representing an innovative integration of quantum computing and image processing span

SHENZHEN, China, May 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- MicroAlgo Inc. (the "Company" or "MicroAlgo") (NASDAQ: MLGO) announced today that it has proposed a quantum image edge extraction algorithm for noisy images, which is an innovative achievement of the deep integration of quantum computing and digital image processing. The algorithm takes quantum state encoding as its core, mapping the grayscale and position information of image pixels to quantum superposition states, thereby realizing parallel storage and processing of massive information.

The core innovation of the quantum image edge extraction algorithm for noisy images lies in the dual quantum space filter and adaptive threshold non-maximum suppression: the former constructs two correlated quantum filtering spaces to perform targeted suppression of statistical noise and impulse noise respectively, while utilizing quantum entanglement characteristics to achieve information linkage and avoid edge blurring; the latter automatically generates thresholds adapted to image features through quantum operations, enabling precise screening of edge points without manual intervention. The entire process is driven by quantum operation circuits, breaking through the efficiency and accuracy bottlenecks of classical algorithms and providing a revolutionary solution for edge extraction in complex noisy environments.

Quantum State Encoding: Quantumization of Image Information

The noisy image to be processed first undergoes quantum state encoding, converting the grayscale values and position coordinates of pixels into quantum superposition states. For example, the pixel values of an 8-bit grayscale image can be encoded into the superposition states of qubits, while the position information is associated with the corresponding grayscale states through quantum entanglement. This process simultaneously preserves the noise characteristics and gradient information of the image, providing a complete data foundation for subsequent processing and avoiding information loss caused by multi-step conversions in classical algorithms.

Dual Quantum Space Filtering: Noise Suppression and Detail Preservation

The encoded quantum image enters the dual quantum space filter. The first quantum space targets statistical noise such as Gaussian noise, suppressing noise through smoothing operations on quantum states while preserving edge regions; the second quantum space utilizes quantum entanglement characteristics to accurately locate and filter impulse noise, while ensuring that edge details are not mistakenly deleted through an information linkage mechanism. For example, in medical imaging, this filter can simultaneously remove statistical noise introduced by low-dose scanning and device impulse interference, while completely preserving the edge contours of tiny lesions.

Gradient Calculation and Direction Analysis

The filtered quantum image enters the gradient calculation module, which rapidly computes the grayscale gradient magnitude and direction of each pixel through quantum parallel operations. The superposition property of quantum states enables the gradient calculation of the entire image to be completed synchronously, with efficiency far exceeding the point-by-point scanning of classical algorithms. For example, in remote sensing image processing, this module can accurately capture the gradient features of terrain changes, providing a basis for subsequent edge localization.

Non-Maximum Suppression: Edge Refinement

After gradient calculation is completed, the algorithm performs non-maximum suppression in the quantum domain, comparing the magnitudes of adjacent pixels along the gradient direction and retaining only local maximum points, thereby thinning wide edges into single-pixel width. Quantum parallel computing ensures that this process is globally synchronized, avoiding edge breakage caused by point-by-point processing in classical algorithms. For example, in industrial defect detection, this module can accurately extract tiny crack edges on the surface of workpieces, ensuring continuity.

Adaptive Threshold Screening: Edge Classification

The algorithm automatically analyzes the grayscale distribution and noise characteristics of the image through quantum operations to generate dynamic thresholds, classifying edge points into three categories: strong edges, weak edges, and non-edges. Weak edges are often ignored in classical algorithms, but quantum adaptive thresholds can determine whether they are real edges by combining contextual information. For example, in autonomous driving scenarios, this module can capture weak edges of road markings under rainy or foggy weather, improving the robustness of environmental perception.

Edge Connection and Decoding Output

Finally, the algorithm connects broken edge segments through quantum operations and decodes the quantum state results into classical image format. The quantum parallel architecture ensures that this process is completed efficiently, enabling real-time processing even for high-resolution images (such as 4K remote sensing imagery).

MicroAlgo's quantum image edge extraction algorithm for noisy images possesses significant advantages. It adopts advanced algorithm models and intelligent architecture, with extremely high computational efficiency, capable of processing massive amounts of data in a short time. Its precision far exceeds that of similar technologies, and it has strong stability, enabling it to adapt to complex and changing environments while effectively reducing the failure rate. At the same time, it features excellent compatibility, seamlessly integrating with various systems and greatly reducing integration costs. In terms of application scope, it is extremely wide-ranging. In the industrial field, it can assist intelligent manufacturing, realize automated monitoring and optimization of production processes, and improve production efficiency and product quality. In the medical industry, it can assist disease diagnosis by analyzing medical imaging and other data, providing doctors with precise references. In the financial field, it can be used for risk assessment and prediction to safeguard fund security. In the transportation field, it can optimize traffic flow, improve travel efficiency, and provide strong support for urban intelligent traffic management.

With the development of quantum computing, the industrialization process of quantum image processing technology continues to accelerate. MicroAlgo will continue to optimize this quantum edge extraction algorithm for noisy images, improve the adaptability of quantum operation circuits, expand application boundaries, promote the deep integration of the algorithm with quantum hardware, and assist in the quantum upgrade of image processing technology and the intelligent development of the entire industry.

YY group launches OpenClaw agentic AI across hotel clients

span style font size 14pt YY Group launched OpenClaw agentic AI across three hotel clients in Southeast Asia with two of five planned workflows operational and broader rollout through 2026 span

SINGAPORE, May 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- YY Group Holding Limited (NASDAQ: YYGH) ("YY Group" or the "Company"), an AI-native workforce management platform and integrated facility management (IFM) provider operating across Asia and beyond, today announced the initial production deployment of OpenClaw, the Company's agentic AI execution layer within its YY Circle platform. OpenClaw is currently live with three hotel clients in Southeast Asia, with two of five planned client-facing workflows operational, and is in active internal use across selected YY Group accounts.

This deployment represents the first phase of the Company's long-term agentic AI initiatives outlined in Module 4 of its May 11, 2026 Strategic Update. Powered by Arros AI, OpenClaw connects the Company's Talent, Workflow, and Data Intelligence capabilities – Modules 1-3 in its AI framework – with the messaging applications, spreadsheets, and other tools hotel teams already use, making both data and function easily accessible via human query or agentic AI action.

The Company's OpenClaw deployment is engineered to boost shift fulfillment rates while reducing coordination workload for both client HR and operations teams and YY Group's internal account management, operations, and executive departments. OpenClaw operates across the Company's YY Circle platform and the applications that hotel teams use day-to-day, including WhatsApp and Telegram, to proactively monitor open shifts, fill-rate gaps, and worker reliability signals, then triggers background workflows autonomously – allowing hotel operators to spend less time on manual shift postings and fill-rate emergencies, and more time on guest experience. Internally, OpenClaw is designed to streamline account management coordination, driving greater efficiency as the Company scales its hotel client base. The internal deployment is also intended to validate workflows ahead of broader client-facing rollouts.

Mike Fu, Chief Executive Officer of YY Group, commented, "Our hospitality clients tell us the single biggest drag on productivity is not the absence of data — it is the time it takes to act on data scattered across messaging groups, spreadsheets, and disconnected portals. OpenClaw closes that gap by bringing our AI-native platform to where operations teams already work and automating workflows across the board, turning YY Circle from a workforce solution into an operational partner for hotel HR and operations teams. Internally, early results are encouraging, and we expect OpenClaw to drive margin expansion as we continue to scale across Southeast Asia and beyond."

Kevin Gao, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Arros AI, added, "Our OpenClaw deployment is more than an AI agent – it represents a comprehensive infrastructure upgrade for both YY Group and its hospitality clients. By identifying demand and worker reliability signals across applications and acting autonomously when conditions call for it, OpenClaw is poised to drive meaningful improvements across shift fill rate, worker turn-up, and the share of operations time spent on coordination – translating into operating leverage for YY Group and measurable operating gains for clients."

As of the date of this release, two client-facing workflows have entered production:

Chat-based shift creation. Hotel HR and operations supervisors can create shift requests through messaging applications, with OpenClaw autonomously posting the shift to YY Circle and returning headcount confirmation.

Automated worker outreach. OpenClaw initiates messaging to workers flagged as at-risk for absence and escalates unresponsive cases to YY Group's operations team in time to action a replacement.

Three additional client-facing workflows are scheduled to enter production through the second half of 2026: proactive shift fill-rate alerts to hotel operations channels, plain-language worker pool queries, and post-shift rating capture through messaging applications. A broader rollout across YY Group's hotel client base will be phased in parallel.

OpenClaw currently operates on YY Group-managed cloud infrastructure across the Company's Singapore operations, with role-based permission scoping and explicit human approval gates for any action that creates financial obligations or modifies worker records. The system is built on Claude (Anthropic) as the underlying large language model, consistent with Arros AI's underlying stack.

The Company will report on additional product milestones and operational results from its product deployments as they become available.

Vmake integrates icml accepted bridgeremoval algorithm for video object removal

span style font size 14pt Vmake integrated BridgeRemoval a next generation AI algorithm accepted at ICML 2026 to improve the quality and speed of video object removal for advanced editing span

PALO ALTO, Calif., May 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Vmake has officially integrated BridgeRemoval, a next-generation AI algorithm developed to improve the quality and speed of video object removal. The research paper behind this algorithm has been accepted at ICML 2026. The paper can be viewed on arXiv at the official research page.

This integration highlights Vmake's focus on research-led development, where a globally recognized ICML paper becomes the foundation of its everyday video watermark removal feature.

The problem with video object removal today

Many existing video object removal systems still rely on diffusion methods that begin from random noise instead of the original footage itself. This often weakens scene accuracy, creates unrealistic background reconstruction, and causes flickering between frames.

Since video depends on stable motion and visual continuity, these problems become noticeable very quickly, particularly in scenes with movement, texture detail, or changing lighting conditions.

How the BridgeRemoval Algorithm Improves Video Object Removal

The core innovation of BridgeRemoval lies in its unique methodology. Unlike traditional algorithms that attempt to reconstruct video frames from scratch, BridgeRemoval establishes a stochastic bridging path directly from the source video (containing the object) to the target video output.

This method brings two clear benefits. One is a steady motion across frames. The background holds its place as the video plays, which helps avoid the jitter or flicker often seen in other algorithms used for video object removal.

The other is speed. The system handles processing quickly while still keeping results clean and realistic. That makes it useful for fast turnaround work where both quality and time matter. Creators can view the technical capabilities and visual results of this technology on the official project page.

Why ICML 2026 recognition matters

The 43rd International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML 2026) will take place in Seoul, South Korea, from July 6–11, 2026, at the COEX Convention & Exhibition Center. This is one of the world's biggest events for AI and Machine Learning research. Getting accepted by ICML means the "BridgeRemoval paper" passed a strict peer review from leading researchers around the world. It confirms the originality, technical strength, and practical value of the algorithm.

The recognition strengthens Vmake's position in AI video object removal technology research. Rather than simply adopting existing models, the company continues building tools based on next-gen technologies.

"BridgeRemoval's ICML acceptance means the technology behind Vmake's AI removal tool has been peer-reviewed," said Shiny, A Product Manager at Vmake. "Our goal is simple. Turn research-level ideas into practical tools for real work."

Vmake's Video Removal feature built on BridgeRemoval

Vmake's video watermark removal feature uses precise object targeting powered by BridgeRemoval to improve removal accuracy across both static and moving scenes. With it, users can easily remove watermarks, logos, subtitles, any text overlay, any unnecessary object, and even people from videos with pinpoint accuracy.

The feature supports multi-object and batch removal. This helps creators handle larger editing tasks faster. It also restores the background smoothly after removal, keeping the final result natural. The tool is built for easy use, so creators, sellers, and small teams can work with it without advanced editing skills.

YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@Vmake_ai

X (Twitter): https://x.com/VmakeAI

TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@Vmake.ai

span style font size 14pt DJ Snake performed live at Victoria Harbour on 8 May 2026 making history with the inaugural Sino French electronic music festival celebrating culture and community span

HONG KONG, May 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- On a balmy evening of 8 May, the iconic Victoria Harbour waterfront transformed into a pulsating celebration of sound, culture, and connection. DJ Snake Live in Hong Kong made history as the inaugural Sino-French electronic music festival ever presented under the French May Arts Festival, marking a landmark moment in the festival's 33-year legacy. The flagship event drew over 8,000 passionate fans, including over a thousand tourists from Mainland China who had travelled to Hong Kong for the Labour Day Golden Week, as well as overseas visitors from Australia, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, the Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, the United Kingdom, the United States, and more. This impressive turnout reaffirmed the city's position as Asia's premier destination for world class live entertainment.

From the first beat to the final drop, the energy never let up. Cantomania, featuring DJ Fabsabs and DJ Steffunn, kicked off the evening with an irresistible set of Cantopop disco, celebrating local Hong Kong cultural pride and instantly connecting with the home crowd. Their signature Canto disco sound set the perfect tone for the night ahead. Following them, DJ Wordy, China's only three-time DMC Champion and the first Chinese DJ to perform at EDC Las Vegas, delivered a masterful 50-minute showcase of turntablism and groove. Then, Higher Brothers, including Masiwei, KnowKnow, PSY.P, and Melo, stormed the stage, bringing their signature hip hop swagger to celebrate a milestone moment. They marked the 10th anniversary of their groundbreaking formation as China's most influential rap group, and the crowd erupted as they ran through hits spanning their decade long journey.

Then came the moment the crowd had been waiting for. DJ Snake took command of the stage for a 75-minute headline set, blending global chart toppers like "Lean On", "Taki Taki", and "Turn Down For What" with heavy bass and trap anthems. In a surprise moment that sent the crowd into absolute frenzy, DJ Snake brought Higher Brothers back to the stage for a never-before-seen live collaboration. They performed the group's iconic anthem "Made in China" together for the very first time. For a group that once sampled Snake's 2013 hit "Turn Down For What" in their original breakout track, the moment came full circle. It was a powerful symbol of the evening's cross-cultural spirit, a French electronic icon and China's hip hop royalty sharing the same stage, feeding off the same roar. The surprise collaboration marked another milestone in a night full of them, especially poignant as Higher Brothers celebrate their 10th anniversary this year, having come a long way from their Chengdu underground roots to sharing a stage with one of the world's biggest electronic artists.

As the night approached its emotional peak, DJ Snake delivered a moment that will be etched in the memories of everyone present. He closed his set with his global anthem "Let Me Love You", the iconic track that has amassed over 3 billion streams on Spotify, transforming the harbourfront into a sea of raised hands and singing voices. As the final chorus swelled, a spectacular display of fireworks and pyro erupted against the Hong Kong skyline, illuminating Victoria Harbour in a cascade of colour and light. The crowd of 8,000 roared in unison, their voices carrying across the water as the night reached its euphoric conclusion. It was a breathtaking finale that captured the essence of the evening, featuring world class music, stunning production, and the unforgettable backdrop of one of the world's most beautiful skylines.

Long before the headliner took the stage, attendees embarked on a culinary journey that was every bit as memorable as the music. The Gourmet Village brought together the best of French elegance and Hong Kong's vibrant dining scene, offering a curated selection of artisanal cheese, charcuterie, freshly baked pastries, and decadent desserts that transported guests straight to Paris. A dedicated Hennessy bar offered premium cognac cocktails and tastings, adding a touch of French luxury to the night. The crowd flocked to Chef Nic, Nicolas Tse's celebrated culinary brand, for his signature creations, and to Peridot, a beloved Hong Kong hotspot serving up local favourites with a modern twist. From flaky croissants to spicy street food inspired bites, the Gourmet Village was a delicious celebration of the culinary dialogue between France and Hong Kong, a true feast for the senses.

The excitement extended well beyond the music. A massive interactive game booth gave away 500 premium prizes, including French May dance performance tickets, limited edition posters, exclusive merchandise, and drink vouchers. Three lucky winners walked away with a rare signed DJ Snake t-shirt, a prized possession for any fan. The official merchandise offering featured the DJ Snake x Pardon My French classic puff tees, with a limited number of signed versions also available. When the main stage lights dimmed at 11:00 PM, the night was far from over. Skybox VIP guests were treated to an exclusive after party session with DJ Snake himself at Cardinal Point. Across the city, fans continued the celebration at a series of official after parties, including AOAO DJ Cell Party, Boomerang Restricted Party, and FAYY, where DJ Wordy kept the energy alive with a special late-night set. From 1 to 8 May, ticket holders also enjoyed discounts of up to 25 percent at partner restaurants, bars, and venues across Lan Kwai Fong, H Queen's, H Code, The Murray Hong Kong, and beyond, providing a direct boost to Hong Kong's food and beverage economy.

As the first ever Sino-French electronic music festival under French May, this event marked a bold new chapter for the 33-year-old festival. It was a project financially supported by the Mega Arts and Cultural Events Fund under the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, underscoring Hong Kong's commitment to cultural exchange, nighttime economy revitalization, and positioning itself as Asia's events capital. The successful collaboration between French May, DJ Snake, Higher Brothers, and a wide network of local and international partners demonstrates the power of music and gastronomy to bridge cultures and create unforgettable shared experiences. This landmark event would not have been possible without the support of our valued partners, including official ticketing partners Cityline, Trip.com, Ctrip, Ticketflap, PLVR, Klook, Damai, Maoyan, mPay, and uutix; official after party partners Cardinal Point, AOAO, Boomerang, FAYY, and LKF Group; official beverage partner Moët Hennessy Diageo; Gourmet Village partners Chef Nic, Peridot, and French GourMay; official venue partner Central Harbourfront Event Space; and supporting organizations the Mega Arts and Cultural Events Fund and the Hong Kong Tourism Board.
Continuity Biosciences announces first in human trial for pancreatic cancer

span style font size 14pt Continuity Biosciences started a first in human clinical trial of its precision drug delivery platform for pancreatic cancer now open for enrollment at leading academic medical centers span

CARY, N.C. and BRADENTON, Fla., May 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Continuity Biosciences, LLC, a clinical-stage biotechnology company advancing precision drug delivery platforms, today announced the initiation of a Phase I, first-in-human clinical trial evaluating gemcitabine delivered via its iontophoretic oncology platform (IOP) for the treatment of pancreatic cancer.

The study, listed on ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT07481383), is now open for enrollment at leading academic medical centers, including WVU Medicine J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, West Virginia University's academic medical center (Morgantown, WV), and Taubman Ctr Univ Michigan Medicine, the University of Michigan's academic medical center (Ann Arbor, MI).

Designed to enable localized, controlled delivery of therapeutics directly into pancreatic tumors, Continuity Biosciences' proprietary IOP platform aims to address longstanding challenges in drug penetration and systemic toxicity that have limited the effectiveness of conventional treatment approaches. By increasing intratumoral drug concentration while minimizing systemic exposure, the IOP platform is intended to support more effective use of both existing and emerging oncology therapies.

"This first-in-human study represents an important milestone in our mission to transform how therapies are delivered to solid tumors," said Ramakrishna "Krishna" Venugopalan, Chief Executive Officer of Continuity Biosciences. "By enabling precise, localized delivery, we believe our platform has the potential to enhance the effectiveness of existing therapies and serve as a foundation for combination treatment approaches across multiple tumor types."

Pancreatic cancer remains one of the leading causes of cancer-related mortality, with five-year survival rates remaining in the low double digits. Despite advances in systemic therapies, effective drug delivery to pancreatic tumors continues to be a major barrier to improved outcomes.

"Pancreatic cancer remains one of the most difficult cancers to treat, and patients urgently need better options," said Jen Jen Yeh, MD, Director of the Pancreatic Cancer Center of Excellence at the University of North Carolina Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. "Approaches that effectively deliver therapy precisely to the tumor while sparing the rest of the body could meaningfully change outcomes for patients."

"This trial is a critical step toward safer, more effective delivery of gemcitabine for pancreatic cancer patients," said Brian Boone, M.D., surgical oncologist at the WVU Cancer Institute and principal investigator for the WVU Medicine trial. "By targeting therapy directly to the tumor, we hope to improve outcomes while reducing the side effects that so often limit treatment in advanced disease."

"One of the central challenges in treating pancreatic cancer is getting enough drug into the tumor without harming the rest of the body," said Dr. Benjamin Ferguson, M.D., PhD, Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery and surgical oncologist at the University of Michigan Medical Center. "This study will tell us whether targeted, localized delivery can overcome that barrier for gemcitabine and potentially open the door to better treatment strategies for patients with limited options."

Beyond pancreatic cancer, Continuity Biosciences is exploring the broader applicability of its IOP platform across additional oncology settings, including localized delivery of carboplatin in oral head and neck cancers.

Learn more at www.continuitybiosciences.com

Nearly four in five western european companies face late payments

span style font size 14pt An Atradius survey found that nearly four in five companies in Western Europe face late payments as restricted bank finance drives a structural shift to trade credit putting pressure on suppliers span

AMSTERDAM, May 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Restricted access to bank finance in Western Europe is driving a structural shift in B2B payment behaviour. More companies are relying on trade credit to finance sales, lifting its share to 52% of all B2B transactions. As a result, suppliers are absorbing higher payment risk as payment behaviour weakens, according to the 2026 Atradius Payment Practices Barometer published today.

Silvia Ungaro, Senior Advisor on B2B Payment Trends at Atradius, states:

"Reduced access to bank finance is compelling companies to explore alternative funding, particularly trade credit. This shift, however, is happening at a time when liquidity is already under pressure, chiefly due to overdue payments locking up working capital."

Businesses across Western Europe face rising input costs and growing pressure on profitability, driven by inflation and energy price volatility linked to geopolitical tensions. At the same time, interest rates remain high as banks maintain a cautious stance, reflecting heightened risk perception, and have tightened access to credit for companies.

Pressure on working capital is driven mainly by how often payments are delayed, rather than how long recovery takes. Many companies report less cash available for day-to-day operations. Reliance on external finance is increasing, often at higher cost, while investment constraints are becoming more visible. As delays become more frequent, payment risk travels along supply chains, increasing financial strain across the corporate system.

Nearly four in five companies report late payments with one in four reporting losses of up to 5%, a level that steadily erodes working capital and profitability.

Looking ahead, business confidence remains fragile. More than half of companies do not expect a meaningful short-term improvement in B2B payment behaviour, and around a third now plan for multiple scenarios rather than relying on a single outlook. Those that accept this uncertainty and manage payment risk with that mindset are better positioned to hold their ground. The challenge for businesses is in balancing flexibility while tightening controls where pressure is rising.

For more information, visit https://group.atradius.com/knowledge-and-research

Top 5 of supply chain ai initiatives achieve breakthrough gains

span style font size 14pt A GEP UVA Darden study found that while 95 of supply chain AI initiatives fail to scale the top 5 deliver triple digit productivity gains through governance and operational redesign span

CLARK, N.J., May 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- A small elite group of companies has cracked the code on scaling AI in supply chain operations, delivering triple-digit productivity gains, faster response times and lower error rates, according to new joint research from GEP and the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business.

The GEP–UVA Darden study, based on surveys and interviews with senior executives at nearly 200 large enterprises, finds that while AI experimentation is nearly universal, only about 5% of supply chain AI initiatives have successfully moved beyond experimentation to enterprise-wide scale.

The research reveals a stark 'scaling gap': while 5% of initiatives have successfully industrialized, the vast majority remain stalled. Specifically, 22% are caught in the pilot phase, and 74% are either stuck in planning or have no formal roadmap for execution, leaving a significant divide between AI potential and operational reality.

The barrier is not budget, AI and agentic capabilities. It is management discipline.

"Most companies aren't failing at AI because of the technology," said Michael DuVall, Global Head of Strategy at GEP and co-author of the study. "They're failing because they're automating broken processes. The companies seeing outsized gains redesign how work gets done, put real governance in place, and hold AI to clear business outcomes before scaling."

What the 5% Elite Performers Do Differently

The organizations behind the top 5% of initiatives that have moved beyond pilots to operational scale, share several measurable characteristics:

Formal governance: Companies that scaled AI are significantly more likely to operate with a dedicated AI steering committee that ties funding directly to enterprise value delivery.

Portfolio discipline: Rather than approving isolated experiments, successful companies manage AI initiatives as a structured portfolio — progressing use cases deliberately from evaluation to pilot to scale.

Auditability and transparency: AI scalers document system logic through digital audit trails at materially higher rates than their peers, reinforcing trust, compliance and accuracy.

Workforce alignment: Organizations that have scaled AI are two to three times more likely to modernize elements of their talent strategy, redefining roles and aligning incentives to AI-enabled operating models.

In one documented example cited in the research, a standardized purchase requisition validation process enabled approximately 80% of transactions to auto-clear and drove triple-digit productivity improvements within weeks of deployment.

The GEP–UVA Darden research initiative was designed to combine frontline supply chain practice with academic rigor, examining not just where AI is being deployed, but why some organizations are able to industrialize it while others stall.

The full report, Why Operational Discipline Determines Agentic AI Success, is available HERE.

To learn more, visit www.gep.com/quantumintelligence.

Corti launches symphony for speech to text with clinical grade accuracy

Corti introduced Symphony a clinical grade speech to text model that reduces word error rates by up to 93 compared to generalist models powering healthcare s agentic era

COPENHAGEN, Denmark, May 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Corti, the frontier lab for clinical-grade AI, today launched Symphony for Speech-to-Text: a new generation of clinical-grade speech-to-text models for real-time dictation, conversational transcription, and batch audio file processing. The latest models sharpen the accuracy of today's voice-powered healthcare applications while giving the next generation of clinical agents a more reliable speech layer to reason from.

Highlights from the research include:

Up to 93% lower word error rate versus leading speech models tested on English, German, and French medical terminology, achieving 1.4% WER in English compared with 17.7% for OpenAI, 18.1% for ElevenLabs, 17.4% for Whisper, and 18.9% for Parakeet.

Clinically usable formatting, reaching 98.3% recall on formatted entities such as dosages, measurements, and dates, compared with 44.3% for the strongest baseline.

Dragon Medical One-level clinical dictation performance, achieving 4.6% WER on real-world English medical dictation versus Dragon's 5.7% (improvement of 19%), with higher medical term recall than Dragon (93.5% vs 92.9%).

Consistent multilingual gains, with 2.4% WER in German versus 13.0% for the next-best system, and 3.9% WER in French versus 10.6%.

Why it matters

Healthcare's speech recognition options have until now largely split into two categories: general-purpose cloud APIs built for broad-domain transcription and challenged by clinical terminology, or dedicated medical dictation products optimised for clinician dictation but not built as infrastructure for the ambient AI, agents, and real-time clinical support tools now emerging across healthcare. Symphony for Speech-to-Text is Corti's latest answer: a system that produces structured, clinically usable output through a production-grade API designed for a wide range of clinical workflows - helping downstream AI reason over cleaner facts, not just cleaner transcripts.

"Speech has always been one of healthcare's most important inputs," said Andreas Cleve, co-founder and CEO of Corti. "What is changing is what happens after the words are captured. In the agentic era, speech recognition requires more than simply producing a transcript - we need to give AI systems accurate clinical facts to reason from. If a model mishears a medication, dosage, or symptom, every downstream step becomes less reliable. Symphony for Speech-to-Text gives healthcare builders a speech layer accurate enough to thrive in clinical reality."

Early adopters are already building on Symphony for Speech-to-Text in some of the most linguistically demanding clinical environments.

SAN DIEGO, May 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- FASHIONPHILE, the leading re-commerce platform for pre-owned, ultra-luxury accessories, today announced global icon, entrepreneur, and Grammy-winning artist Cardi B as its 2026 Global Brand Ambassador. The partnership signals a defining moment for the brand, bringing one of fashion's most influential collectors into the conversation around ownership, circularity and long-term value in luxury.

Shot in New York City, the campaign features a mix of still imagery and video capturing Cardi B engaging with FASHIONPHILE's highly curated assortment – from rare, hard-to-find pieces to recent-season icons. Framed by the theme "Get Your Bag," the campaign taps into FASHIONPHILE's unique shop-and-sell model, reflecting the circularity of pre-loved luxury, where acquiring and reselling are inherently connected. More than a traditional campaign, it reflects how resale shows up in culture today, driven by access, trust, and a new generation of consumers who want both style and substance.

"I love a good bag, but I love a smart buy too. I love Fashionphile because they really have it all. The rare pieces, the classics, and everything's authentic." said Cardi. Her unapologetic, transparent approach to luxury has resonated with a new generation of consumers – one that increasingly sees high-end fashion as both personal expression and long-term investment.

"At FASHIONPHILE, we've always believed that ultra-luxury is an investment, not just a purchase," said Sarah Davis, Founder and President of FASHIONPHILE. "Cardi embodies that mindset in a way that's both aspirational and real. She understands the value behind these pieces and brings a level of visibility and energy that expands how people think about resale."

As part of the collaboration, Cardi B has curated an exclusive edit of her covetable accessories, featuring highly sought-after pieces from iconic luxury brands including Hermès, Chanel, and Goyard. The collection will be available exclusively on FASHIONPHILE.com.

This partnership marks FASHIONPHILE's fourth major ambassador program, following collaborations with Martha Stewart, Nicole Richie, and Emma Roberts – reinforcing the brand's position at the intersection of culture, credibility and modern luxury.

Rubber sector gains momentum from commodity rally and land windfall

Surging natural rubber prices improving export demand and lucrative industrial land conversion plans are combining to fuel renewed investor appetite for rubber stocks

Since early May, natural rubber prices have climbed to their highest level in nine years, fluctuating at approximately $2,200-2,300 per tonne. The trend is creating better conditions for major rubber-exporting countries in Asia, including Vietnam.

In the first four months of 2026, Vietnam’s natural rubber exports continued to expand, while selling prices improved significantly. Rising prices and stronger consumption demand have quickly translated into positive business results for many companies in the sector.

Business operations at numerous natural rubber enterprises have also shown clear improvement. At Tan Bien Rubber JSC, first-quarter revenue exceeded $20.9 million, up 135 per cent on-year, while after-tax profit reached more than $9.1 million, up 209 per cent.

The natural rubber prices are hovering at high levels in recent months

Vietnam Rubber Group currently owns around 377,797 hectares of rubber plantations. In Q1, the group recorded revenue of $353.8 million, up 56 per cent on-year, while profit surged 89 per cent to nearly $118.4 million.

The main growth driver came from stronger global rubber demand, particularly from the automotive and tyre manufacturing industries in China, the world’s largest rubber-consuming market.

Phuoc Hoa Rubber JSC also posted strong momentum in Q1, with revenue reaching $18.7 million, up 50.3 per cent on-year. Vietcombank Securities (VCBS) forecasts that Phuoc Hoa Rubber’s rubber segment revenue could reach around $69.8 million in 2026.

For Phuoc Hoa Rubber specifically, VCBS believes plantation productivity will continue to improve after the company completed the replanting of all ageing rubber trees, while many newly planted areas are entering a stable harvesting phase.

In addition, the company’s approximately 7,664 ha of rubber plantations in Cambodia are moving into the peak-yield stage of the crop cycle.

The favourable movement in rubber prices, together with expectations of stronger profit growth, has quickly attracted investor attention in the stock market.

Recently, shares of diverse rubber companies such as TRC, PHR and HRC have recorded strong gains. Notably, HRC shares hit the daily ceiling for four consecutive sessions from May 7 to 12.

Investors believe rubber stocks are entering a favourable phase, supported simultaneously by the commodity price upcycle and expectations of improving core business performance.

This marks an important distinction from previous periods, when many companies in the sector were valued mainly for their ‘land bank story’.

Phuoc Hoa Rubber has drawn considerable market attention as one of Vietnam’s largest natural rubber producers, with its land bank concentrated primarily in Binh Duong area (now part of Ho Chi Minh City).

The company plans to convert more than 3,000 ha of rubber land into industrial park developments, while also expanding into supporting sectors such as residential property, renewable energy and high-tech agriculture.

Meanwhile, shares of Tay Ninh Rubber JSC are viewed by An Binh Securities (ABS) as having positive sales volume prospects thanks to the recovery of the automotive and tyre manufacturing industries in major markets such as China and India.

The expansion of Vietnam’s electric vehicle ecosystem, particularly through cooperation between Vingroup and Vinachem to develop a materials supply chain for VinFast, could indirectly support long-term domestic rubber demand through increased local tyre production.

Beyond benefiting from the upcycle in natural rubber prices, many companies also possess a “dual-growth story,” combining expansion potential in their core businesses with the prospect of strong profits from industrial land assets.

According to VCBS forecasts, Phuoc Hoa Rubber alone could record around $28 million in profit from compensation related to rubber land conversion in 2026. Notably, the Bac Tan Uyen Industrial Park is expected to generate approximately $80-120 million in land conversion compensation for the company.

Tay Ninh Rubber also has the potential to deliver exceptional profit growth in 2026. The company plans to convert around 495 ha of rubber land at the Go Dau plantation – mainly ageing or low-yield plantations – to support the development of the Hiep Thanh Industrial Park.

The venture broke ground in December 2025. Under the plan, the 2025-2026 will focus on infrastructure deployment and completion of land-use conversion procedures, paving the way for Tay Ninh Rubber to recognise extraordinary income of around $78.4 million from land compensation and plantation liquidation.

Against the backdrop of persistently high natural rubber prices, improving harvesting and export activities, and the industrial park segment continuing to generate substantial revenue, rubber companies are considered to possess multiple supportive factors for medium- and long-term profit growth.

This partly explains why capital flows in the stock market are returning to rubber stocks after a relatively subdued trading period.

VN stocks advance on real estate, rubber firms
Vietnamese shares rose on Wednesday morning, boosted by the positive moves of real estate and rubber stocks.

Insurers, stock brokers and rubber firms lift VN market
Vietnamese shares gained ground on Wednesday morning, driven by insurance-finance and rubber industries.

Rubber firms report positive Q3 performance
A price surge in the third quarter (Q3) has helped rubber companies to gain significant revenue and profit after years of struggling with low prices.

The total outbound investment reached $713.8 million.

Between January and April, Vietnamese investors poured capital into 16 sectors abroad. Among them, investments were mainly concentrated in the production and distribution of electricity, gas, hot water, steam, and air conditioning with a total registered capital of over $163.7 million, accounting for 22.9 per cent of the total outbound investment.

The construction placed second with over $153 million, representing 21.4 per cent of the total. From a small brokerage unit with a charter capital of VND800 million ($30,800), Dat Xanh has become a group with a charter capital of over $428 million, total assets of over $1.47 billion, and a database of more than 7.5 million customers after 23 years of development.

Luong Tri Thin, founder and chairman of the Strategic Council delivered opening remarks for the event

The event opened with an exhibition called Heritage to Future, recreating the 23-year journey through milestones, ventures, and decisions that have shaped Dat Xanh.

Luong Tri Thin, founder of the Strategic Council at Bluemarq Group, said, “A business that only focuses on project development and product sales will always be subject to market cycles. Against the backdrop of restructuring global capital flows, sectors such as infrastructure, data, and real estate are increasingly becoming strategic assets. Organisations that can efficiently mobilise and allocate capital and boast large-scale asset portfolios will gain a competitive advantage. If companies continue along the old path, they will ultimately be constrained by their own growth model.”

The restructuring process stems from the inevitable development requirements, as Dat Xanh surpassed the limits of its previous operating model. In light of the gradually improving real estate legal framework, the market is creating better conditions for the development of professional investment and asset management models.

“In the new phase, a company’s value will be measured not only by the number of development ventures, but also by its ability to own, operate, and generate cash flow from long-term asset systems," Thin said.

Representatives of the leadership team presented the four strategic operating platforms of Bluemarq Group.

At the event, representatives of the leadership team unveiled the company's new operating model with four strategic pillars: investment, development, asset management, and Dat Xanh, operating independently but interconnected within the same ecosystem.

Among them, Bluemarq Investment is responsible for raising capital and expanding cooperation with international financial institutions. Meanwhile, Bluemarq Development focuses on developing mid- and high-end real estate projects.

Bluemarq Asset Management is focused on managing and operating real estate assets to generate recurring revenue, reducing dependence on sales cycles. This is the foundation for the company’s strategy to diversify its revenue streams.

In addition, Dat Xanh continues to operate as an independent business with a network of nearly 100 companies and branches, along with 30,000 brokerage partners and collaborators.

Under the new strategy, the Dat Xanh brand is repositioned to its core strength: delivering services, connecting the markets, and directly serving the housing and property investment needs of customers and communities.

One of the key contents highlighted at the event was the transition from a real estate developer to a real asset manager. Beyond developing and selling properties, the company will now focus on creating, owning, operating, and enhancing the value of assets over the long term.

This model has been implemented by large corporations in Asia, as urbanisation continues to accelerate and investment demand for real-world assets is on the upward trend. Vietnam, with a clear legal framework for 2023-2026, is entering a favourable cycle for this model to take shape and gain traction.

According to experts at the event, Bluemarq Group’s development strategy offers several distinct advantages over the traditional real estate development model. Collaboration with funds and strategic partners helps the company reduce financial leverage pressure, diversify risk, and maintain resources for long-term opportunities. In the international market, asset management companies have higher valuation due to sustainable cash flow and stable growth across economic cycles.

The founder of the Strategic Council presented the new badges to Bluemarq Group's leadership

The rollout of the new brand identity across all offices, ventures, branches, and the entire corporate materials is expected to be completed in Q3.

Following market adjustments in 2022–2023, many Vietnamese real estate businesses have re-evaluated their growth models to adapt. For Bluemarq Group, the largest restructuring in its 23-year history represents a strategic repositioning for a longer-term phase of development.

Dat Xanh Group ready for breakthrough in 2020-2030 with issuance of 200 million shares
According to the document expected to be presented at the 2021 annual general meeting of shareholders, Dat Xanh Group JSC (HSX: DXG) will propose to issue shares for new shareholders and employees.

Chairman of Dat Xanh Group: A 20-year journey “working in the entrepreneurial spirit”
From the very foundation of Dat Xanh Group, entrepreneur Luong Tri Thin has been determined to build a business with a strong team, and has always strived for innovation and creativity to constantly develop and contribute to a powerful future for the country.
Aberdeen Technical School students patent cold chain monitoring system

span style font size 14pt Aberdeen Technical School students received a patent for Eye of the Fresh Environment a cold chain monitoring system that reduces spoilage in logistics span

HONG KONG SAR - Media OutReach Newswire - 20 May 2026 - Aberdeen Technical School (ATS) officially announced that its students' innovative cold chain intelligent monitoring system, "Eye of the Fresh Environment," was officially granted a Hong Kong patent as published in the Hong Kong Intellectual Property Journal in April 2026. The project previously secured the Overall Grand Championship at the "Innovate and Lead - The New Wave Logistics Competition", prevailing over 40 teams from Hong Kong and Macau.

Aberdeen Technical School Students’ Cold Chain Monitoring System "Eye of the Fresh Environment" Granted Patent

Innovative Organic Semiconductor Technology: 48-Hour Spoilage Early Warning

Addressing the global crisis where 1.3 billion tons of fresh food are wasted annually due to cold chain failures, the ATS student team developed the "Eye of the Fresh Environment" system. Utilizing advanced organic semiconductor technology, the team created micro-sensors that feature low cost and zero heat generation to monitor temperature, humidity, and gas concentrations in real-time.

Combined with AI cloud analysis, the system can provide an early warning of food spoilage up to 48 hours in advance, automatically notifying distributors. Data indicates the system effectively helps enterprises reduce fresh produce spoilage rates from 20% to below 5%. This results in a reduction of 15 tons of waste per 100 tons of produce and a revenue increase exceeding HKD 450,000, providing robust support for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals in the logistics industry.

Originating from Real-Life Observation; Addressing Market Gaps

The development team included students Wong Tim Shing (F.2), Chan Lai Him, Lau Ho Yin, and Pang Wai Chiu (F.4). The inspiration for the project came from observing large amounts of spoiled fruits and vegetables during transportation. They identified that existing market systems are often designed for large-scale industrial use, making them expensive, bulky, and lacking flexibility.

Team member Lau Ho Yin noted that "Eye of the Fresh Environment" features a low-cost modular design and a real-time local warning mechanism. It is specifically optimized for small-to-medium-sized transport scenarios and startup teams, filling a significant market gap. Pang Wai Chiu added that using organic semiconductors makes the monitors both affordable and energy-efficient.

Boarding Life Cultivating Excellence: "Learning to Study, Learning to Be"

The success of this patented invention reflects the unique outcomes of Aberdeen Technical School's boarding education. The school noted that students took the initiative to form teams during the 2025 summer break, integrating school-based innovation and logistics projects into real-life research and development. This demonstrates a spirit of self-directed learning, innovative courage, and the pursuit of excellence.

In their reflections, students highlighted how boarding life aided the development process. By living together, they learned teamwork, responsibility, and time management. Lau Ho Yin shared that living away from home required self-discipline in scheduling and cutting down on unproductive phone usage, allowing more focus on critical thinking and social observation.

http://www.ats.edu.hk/
The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement.
