Kairos-HomeWorld takes a fundamentally different approach. It decomposes whole-home generation into a structured, four-stage process, redefining the underlying architectural paradigm from the ground up.

Stage 1 — Floor Plan Generation. A K-D tree-based approach translates real-world floor plans into a hierarchical text representation that can be efficiently processed by large language models (LLMs). This method mitigates common issues in conventional layout generation, including room overlaps and fragmented topologies, resulting in more coherent and structurally consistent spatial configurations.

Stage 2 — 2D-to-3D Lifting & Furniture Layout Generation. A "top-down global initialization combined with a first-person detail walkthrough" approach anchors the process to the 3D building shell generated in Stage 1. The dataset: 300,000 real floor plans, 5,000 fully interactive homes, built for Chinese households

ACE ROBOTICS and CUHK are open-sourcing a dataset of 300,000 structurally annotated residential floor plans, sourced from real-world listings and processed through a multi-stage automated pipeline. The pipeline vectorizes and labels key spatial elements, including door and window positions, room geometry, functional zoning, and connectivity. By comparison, widely used benchmarks such as RPLAN and ResPlan contain approximately 80,000 and 17,000 floor plans, respectively, underscoring the scale and comprehensiveness of the Kairos-HomeWorld dataset.

Building on this foundation, the dataset also includes 5,000 fully furnished residential environments, each featuring a complete furniture layout and an average of more than 15 physics-enabled, manipulable objects, powered by the PhysX-Omni model. All assets are sim-ready and can be directly imported into a simulation engine, enabling immediate use in interactive training scenarios.

Most existing open indoor-scene datasets are centered on North American and European residential formats, typically featuring open-plan kitchens, the absence of service balconies, and layouts and design elements that capture only a narrow segment of global housing. As a result, robots trained on these datasets often exhibit limited transferability when deployed in environments outside their scope. Kairos-HomeWorld 's dataset is purpose-built for Chinese households, with deliberate coverage of historically under-represented housing typologies. It spans a wide range of unit sizes, from approximately 30 m² (around 320 sq ft) studio apartments to residences exceeding 200 m² (approximately 2,150 sq ft). The dataset accurately reflects key architectural features common in these settings, including north-south cross-ventilated layouts, enclosed kitchens, dedicated service balconies, wet-and-dry-separated bathrooms, and entryway storage, as well as the irregular room configurations often found in older housing stock.

The dataset is being openly released to both academic and industry communities. Going forward, the team plans to expand its scope to include additional regions, interior styles, and interaction scenarios, further lowering barriers to real-world-ready training for embodied intelligence.

A single natural-language instruction, "tidy the whole home", is decomposed by the robot into a variety of discrete sub-tasks, executed sequentially along a complete navigation path spanning the living room, bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, and dining area. By contrast, Kairos-HomeWorld integrates globally consistent spatial structures with objects that embody realistic physical properties. This enables robots to interact naturally with more than 15 object types, accurately modeling real-world dynamics such as collision, gravity, and friction, and to rehearse the full lifecycle of complex household tasks entirely within a virtual environment.

Across the industry, the same structural bottleneck, the scarcity of home-scale training data, is being addressed through multiple approaches. For example, Figure AI's collaboration with Brookfield focuses on collecting human activity data across more than 100,000 residential units. Kairos-HomeWorld addresses this challenge through on-demand synthetic generation, delivering scalable training environments enhanced with object-level physical realism, capabilities that real-world data capture alone cannot fully provide.

In contrast, Kairos-HomeWorld delivers significantly lower costs and higher efficiency for household robot training. Powered by its world model, it can programmatically generate diverse Chinese home simulation scenes and physics-enabled interactive objects at scale.

Robots can complete a full range of household tasks training entirely within the virtual environment. New scene generation incurs near-zero marginal cost, eliminating substantial real-world testing expenses such as site operation and maintenance and furniture damage. The newly released restaurant selection showcases 193 establishments, featuring 11 One MICHELIN Star (2 new), 72 Bib Gourmand (11 new), 110 MICHELIN Selected (9 New), alongside 3 restaurants in the MICHELIN Green Star community (1 new). New additions include 7 from Hanoi (1 One MICHELIN Star, 3 Bib Gourmand, 3 MICHELIN Selected), 11 from Ho Chi Minh City (1 One MICHELIN Star, 5 Bib Gourmand, 5 MICHELIN Selected) and 4 from Da Nang (3 Bib Gourmand and 1 MICHELIN Selected). This year, Tales by Chapter (Ho Chi Minh City) is the newest restaurant to join the MICHELIN Green Star community recognized for its rigorous zero-waste philosophy and its seasonal, plant-based menu sourced from a partner eco-farm in Da Lat[PS1] and the restaurant's own rooftop garden. • Bánh Cuốn Gia Truyền Thanh Vân (Hang Ga Street): Open since 1973 in the heart of the Old Quarter, this family-run spot specialises in bánh cuốn, keeping alive a craft passed down through generations. Everything is made from scratch using traditional methods, resulting in rice rolls that are thin, delicate and soft. The family-recipe dipping sauce strikes a pleasing balance of salty, sweet and sour flavors. Fillings include pork, shrimp and chicken, with extra toppings available.
• Mammom: This kitchen pays homage to the traditional home cooking of Vietnamese mothers. The chef brings a decade of experience to bear in a repertoire of nearly 100 dishes covering southern, central and northern specialities, each gently cooked with authentic seasonings that preserves their rustic character. A standout is the clam broth, brightened with tomato and pineapple, and the clams are deliciously tender, with sweet and sour flavors expertly balanced.
• Phở Hà Hàng Hòm: A no-frills phở gà spot on Hang Hom Street, this eatery has earned loyal fans with its rich, satisfying bowls. Native fowl is gently simmered to retain a chewy tenderness, and paired with rice noodles, herbs and steaming hot broth. Xôi gà – sticky rice with chicken and extras like egg or gizzards – is also popular and often sells out early.

In Ho Chi Minh City

• Bánh Canh Cua Bà Ba: Tucked away down an alley, this compact shop with indoor and outdoor seating is a local favorite. The menu focuses on a single dish: bánh canh cua, a vivid orange crab rice noodle soup – in a smaller bowl for one or claypot for sharing. With a zesty green chilli-lime sauce on the side, the silky broth is generously filled with fish cakes, crab leg meat and egg ribbons.
• Bánh Cuốn Tây Hồ 127: This once-humble hawker is now an iconic two-storey shop known for its delicate rice paper rolls. Made to order beside the open kitchen, they boast balanced, traditional flavors, such as pork and jicama, and vegetarian options.
• Bún Riêu Yến: Set on a bustling street corner, the star of this modest eatery is bún riêu: rice noodles (thin, thick or flat) in a tomato and crab broth. The mildly spicy, naturally sweet broth has good depth and pairs well with generous toppings of fresh whelk meat and minced pork that soaks up the broth.
• Chị Mơ: Phở is the highlight of this restaurant: with a choice of three full-bodied broths, it is made with fresh bones and simmered for 24 hours. Grilled bagrid catfish with crispy rice crackers and umami shrimp paste brings balance, complexity and smoky, textured depth.
• La Lola: With its bold burnt-orange façade and playful interior of tiled floors and velvet chairs, this vibrant spot delivers Mediterranean charm with a youthful twist. Chef Julio Gomez puts a local twist on classic flavors, in dishes such as gambas al ajillo – plump Vietnamese prawns in aromatic chilli-garlic oil – and a tender and well-seared Ibérico pork steak.

In Da Nang

• Bà Vui: This enduring local favorite keeps a tight focus, serving just two items: bún gà and xôi gà. The deeply flavored clear chicken broth is lifted by light, refreshing acidity and a subtle touch of black pepper. Served warm, the sticky rice is topped with a mix of tender pulled chicken, pickled onions and a generous handful of fried shallots – and portion sizes are hearty and satisfying.
• Bánh Bèo - Bánh Đập: This humble shop focuses on just two affordable dishes: bánh bèo and bánh đập. The steamed rice cakes arrive in sets of five, the tender bases topped with a rich pork and wood ear sauce, finished with shallots and peanuts. Made to order, the subtly tangy bánh đập pairs crisp rice crackers with a soft rice wrapper; the accompanying sauce strikes a balance of sweet, salty and fermented notes.

• MÀU: Tucked beneath the trees of a historic Hanoi street corner, this gastro wine bar offers à la carte dishes and a chef's menu, where the food sees modern style balanced with Asian flavors, including subtle Vietnamese notes.
• Phở Gà Huyền Hương: The concise menu focuses on deeply satisfying bowls of phở. The chicken broth is rich and hearty, offering depth. A beef option provides an equally robust alternative.

• NÔM: Nôm's tasting menu unfolds as a thoughtful journey through Vietnam's culinary heritage, moving from the north to central regions, ending with a southern-inspired dessert. Familiar dishes are reworked with finesse – think elegant, complex Huế-style beef noodle soup, or rich fish soup lifted by herb oil and caviar. • Sono: Opened in 2022, Chef Kiên Phan blends traditional and modern, crafting dishes that reflect a deep respect for Vietnamese culture. The à la carte menu revolves around the grill, and each tasting menu has its own theme.
• Tales by Chapter: Vietnam's first zero-waste, plant-based fine dining concept, this serene villa setting serves seasonal tasting menus based on local produce, rooftop-grown herbs and fermentation. Mechanism of Action: ATG-207 is designed to localize activity to T cells through CD3 engagement while delivering controlled, TGFβRIII-biased TGF-β signaling. Its dynamic masking is intended to reduce systemic receptor engagement and limit off-target TGF-β activity. By preferentially engaging TGFβRIII over TGFβRII, ATG-207 promotes TGF-β responsiveness in T cells while potentially minimizing activity in non–T cell compartments. This coordinated mechanism supports regulatory T cell induction and attenuation of pathogenic T cell activity.

Results: ATG-207 showed preferential binding to TGFβRIII compared with TGFβRII and significantly reduced T cell receptor (TCR) expression on the surface of primary T cells. In healthy donor and systemic lupus erythematosus patient donor CD4+ T cells, ATG-207 demonstrated potent induced regulatory T cell activity, as measured by FOXP3 expression. Proteomic profiling of primary T cells treated with ATG-207 showed evidence of T cell functional remodeling, including changes in pathways associated with T cell signaling and immune regulation. In vivo, a mouse surrogate of ATG-207 demonstrated therapeutic activity in both experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis, a multiple sclerosis model, and adoptive T cell transfer colitis, an inflammatory bowel disease model. In human whole blood assays, ATG-207 induced minimal production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, including IL-2, IL-6, TNF-α, and IFN-γ.

Conclusion: ATG-207 represents a differentiated immune tolerance–restoring strategy that integrates precision T cell targeting, context-restricted TGF-β activity, and TGFβRIII-biased signaling. The preclinical data support its potential as a next-generation therapeutic approach for T cell–mediated autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.

LNZ100 is a once-daily prescription eye drop indicated for the treatment of presbyopia. Its active ingredient, aceclidine, is a small molecule acetylcholine receptor agonist that causes pupil contraction, or miosis, creating a pinhole effect that improves near vision. Studies have shown that aceclidine's mechanism of action (MOA) is well positioned to create a pinhole pupil effect while avoiding the impairment of distance vision called myopic shift. Aceclidine's unique pupil selective MOA, in which miosis is decoupled from myopic shift, is expected to allow it to target a broad patient population.

LNZ100 received approval in the United States in July 2025 and was commercially launched in October of the same year. In China, the New Drug Application (NDA) for LNZ100 was submitted in September 2025, with approval expected in the first quarter of 2027. The therapy has the potential to address a significant unmet medical need in China and position itself as a best-in-class, non-invasive treatment option for presbyopia.

Presbyopia is a physiological phenomenon associated with aging that results in a progressively worsening ability to see nearby objects clearly. It is caused by the gradual hardening of the lens. This results in a decline of the eye's adjustment function, and the inability to focus the image of nearby objects on the retina, leading to a decline in near vision. Studies have shown that the onset of presbyopia typically occurs around the age of 38, reaching a prevalence rate of nearly 100 percent at the age of 52 in China. Currently, the treatment options for presbyopia are very limited. Wearing glasses requires frequent removal and insertion, causing many inconveniences in work and life. Surgery, as an irreversible and invasive operation, has very limited acceptance. There are no approved drugs for the treatment of presbyopia in China and the medical need for non-invasive, safe, efficient and reversible treatments for presbyopia remains unsolved. 

The NDA acceptance of LNZ100 by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) of the People's Republic of China is based on the data from China Phase 3 Trial. The study was a Phase 3, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, vehicle-controlled study, including a 4-week efficacy study followed by a 6-month extension safety study, designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of LNZ100 (an aceclidine-based ophthalmic solution) in participants with presbyopia. The objectives were to assess the potential of LNZ100 to improve near vision among Chinese presbyopia patients and to evaluate the efficacy and safety profiles.  The trial has enrolled 300 participants.

The results showed that LNZ100 achieved the primary endpoint and key secondary endpoints, with statistically significant three-lines or greater improvement in Best Corrected Distance Visual Acuity (BCDVA) at near, and maintaining their optimal distance visual acuity (i.e., not losing 5 or more letters). Results also showed (all p<0.0001):

• Rapid onset: 84% and 69% achieved two-lines and three-lines or greater improvement at 30 minutes, respectively.
• 3 hours post treatment: 88% and 74% achieved two-lines and three-lines or greater improvement respectively,and maintained their optimal distance visual acuity (i.e., not losing 5 or more letters).
• Long duration: 61% and 30% achieved two-lines and three-lines or greater improvement at 10 hours, respectively.
• LNZ100 was well-tolerated with no serious treatment-related adverse events observed in the trial.

Key Findings

1. Potent Oral Amylin Receptor Agonist: ASC39

In vitro studies demonstrated that ASC39 exhibited selectivity for the human amylin type 1 receptor (hAMY1R) comparable to that of eloralintide, with substantially greater affinity for the amylin receptor than for the human calcitonin receptor (hCTR). This receptor selectivity may help minimize calcitonin receptor-mediated central adverse effects, such as nausea and excessive appetite suppression.

In a diet-induced obesity (DIO) rat model, ASC39 was administered orally once daily at doses of 0.2 mg/kg, 1 mg/kg, and 5 mg/kg. A clear dose-dependent reduction in body weight was observed. At Day 11, animals receiving 5 mg/kg ASC39 achieved a 9.9% reduction in body weight from baseline, compared with a 2.8% reduction in the placebo group (p < 0.01).

In a separate head-to-head DIO rat study, ASC39 (5 mg/kg, oral, once daily) was compared with eloralintide (3 nmol/kg, subcutaneous injection, once every three days). Both agents induced body weight reductions beginning on Day 2 following treatment initiation. By Day 7, body weight had decreased by 6.0% (p < 0.0001) and 5.0% (p < 0.0001) from baseline in the ASC39 group and eloralintide group, respectively, while body weight increased by 0.6% in the placebo group.

2. Oral Small-Molecule GLP-1 Receptor Agonist: ASC30

ASC30 is an oral, fully biased small-molecule glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP-1R) agonist with a chemical scaffold similar to that of orforglipron (OFG). In vitro studies demonstrated that ASC30 was approximately 2- to 3-fold more potent than OFG. In non-human primates (NHPs), ASC30 administered at 1.5 mg/kg stimulated statistically significant and substantially greater insulin secretion than OFG administered at 6 mg/kg. In an NHP study, ASC30 achieved approximately 5-fold higher oral exposure than OFG. In participants with obesity, ASC30 showed dose-proportional pharmacokinetics across the 2 mg to 60 mg dose range, with a peak-to-trough ratio of below 2:1. In a 4-week Phase I study, ASC30 demonstrated favorable safety and tolerability across all doses (20 mg, 40 mg, and 60 mg), with no hepatic safety signals or elevations in alanine transaminase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), or total bilirubin (TBL).

In a Phase II study (n=125), ASC30 once-daily tablets topline results showed statistically significant and clinically meaningful dose-dependent placebo-adjusted mean body weight reductions with no observed plateau for weight loss. Placebo-adjusted body weight reductions at Week 13 were 5.4%, 7.0%, and 7.7% for the 20 mg, 40 mg, and 60 mg maintenance doses, respectively. Mean baseline body weight was 107.3 kg, and body mass index (BMI) was 38.6 kg/m². From a safety perspective, ASC30 titrated weekly to the target dose demonstrated approximately one-half the rate of vomiting observed with OFG titrated weekly. The gastrointestinal (GI) tolerability of ASC30 titrated weekly was comparable to that reported for OFG titrated every four weeks in the Phase III ATTAIN-1 study. In the ASC30 Phase II study, all GI adverse events (AEs) were grade 1 (mild) and grade 2 (moderate) in severity, and there were no grade 3 (severe) or above GI AEs. There were no drug-related AEs of grade 3 (severe) or higher. No drug-related serious AEs (SAEs). The treatment discontinuation rates due to AEs were 7.3%, 7.5%, and 0.0% in the 20 mg, 40 mg, and 60 mg groups, respectively, versus 0.0% with placebo. No hepatic safety signal was observed, and there were no elevations of ALT, AST, or TBL. In addition, there were no abnormal findings in laboratory tests, vital signs, ECGs (electrocardiograms, including QTc intervals), and physical exams.

By impeding enzymatic degradation and increasing GI permeability, POTENT is able to increase the oral bioavailability of peptides from <1% to approximately 3%–5%. In NHPs, the absolute oral bioavailability of semaglutide in Ascletis' POTENT formulation is 3-fold of that of semaglutide in its commercial SNAC (salcaprozate sodium) formulation; and the absolute oral bioavailability of tirzepatide in Ascletis' POTENT formulation is 9-fold of that of tirzepatide in the SNAC formulation.

Utilizing the POTENT platform, ASC37 oral tablets achieved an average absolute oral bioavailability of 4.2%, approximately 30- and 60-fold higher than tirzepatide and retatrutide in the SNAC formulation, respectively, in head-to-head NHP studies. In addition, in NHP studies, ASC37 oral tablets exhibited an average observed half-life of approximately 56 hours, supporting once-daily or potentially less frequent oral dosing.

This marks the first GPC3-directed immune cell therapy anywhere in the world to enter a confirmatory trial, and the first CAR-T product for a liver cancer indication to reach a Phase II randomised controlled study — a milestone that underscores China's potential to lead the next wave of innovation in cell therapy for solid tumours.

HCC, a disease with few options at the late line

Hepatocellular carcinoma is among the most prevalent malignancies globally, with China alone accounting for roughly 410,000 new cases and 317,000 deaths each year. For patients whose disease has progressed through both immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) and tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKI), options are essentially exhausted: existing second-line agents were developed for patients intolerant of, or progressing on, first-line sorafenib, and nothing has been approved beyond that point. The unmet need is acute.

Phase I data of Ori-C101: robust efficacy and manageable safety

Results from the Phase I BEACON study were featured as an oral presentation at the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting, which recently wrapped up in Chicago, drawing significant attention from the oncology community. All enrolled patients had failed at least two prior lines of therapy, including both TKI and ICI treatment.

Key results:

Objective response rate (ORR): 50% across the evaluable population; 66.7% in the recommended Phase II dose (RP2D) cohort; 100% in the highest dose cohort (DL4)

Speed of response: 89% of responders had already achieved objective response by their first post-infusion assessment, with marked tumour shrinkage

Safety: Cytokine release syndrome (CRS) was manageable; no immune effector cell-associated neurotoxicity syndrome (ICANS) or off-target toxicity was observed, and tolerability was favourable across the study population

Notable case: One patient achieved partial response at first assessment, progressed to complete response by month four, and remains in remission at 24 months

Mechanism and broader potential

GPC3 (Glypican-3) is overexpressed in more than 70% of hepatocellular carcinomas, as well as in gastric cancer, lung squamous cell carcinoma, and ovarian clear cell carcinoma — making it a highly specific and compelling target for cancer therapy. Ori-C101 is engineered to identify and eliminate GPC3-positive tumour cells with precision, drawing on two proprietary platforms: Ori^®Ab (AI-assisted antibody discovery and engineering) and Ori^®Armoring (structure-enhanced cell platform).

Ori-C101's profile has the potential to support use in earlier lines of treatment, and GPC3's expression across multiple tumour types provides a strong scientific rationale for future indication expansion. As the confirmatory trial advances, the goal of treatment in advanced HCC has the potential to shift from controlling disease to achieving durable remission — or even cure.

Principal investigators

The confirmatory Phase II study is a nation-wide, multi-centre trial co-led by Professor Fan Jia (Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Honorary President of Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University) and Professor Qin Shukui (Qiantang Scholar and Professor at Nanjing Tianyinshan Hospital, China Pharmaceutical University).

In a joint statement, the two investigators said: "In our earlier work on late-line advanced HCC, the BEACON study delivered important progress. GPC3 is specifically overexpressed in HCC and represents an ideal therapeutic target, yet GPC3-directed CAR-T approaches have historically been constrained by the immunosuppressive tumour microenvironment. BEACON was designed precisely to break through that barrier and find a new, accessible path for patients who have exhausted their options. The preliminary results from this novel 'armoured' GPC3 CAR-T construct — showing strong objective response rates with a manageable safety profile — not only address an evidence gap in late-line refractory HCC but offer broader lessons for innovative immune cell therapies in solid tumours. We look forward to the Phase II randomised controlled study, and to obtaining the expected results under rigorous scientific design, comprehensive management, and strict quality control."
