Rooted in the rich river culture of the Southern Vietnam, Triton Crown, Phu My Hung’s flagship development, draws inspiration from the rhythm of life, heritage and community spirit shaped over generations of riverside living. The project seeks to establish a new benchmark for modern luxury living, where architecture opens up, connects and blends harmoniously with nature.

The podium creates generous spaces, enhances connectivity, and encourages walkability, with two levels of retail, four levels of shophouses with terraces, and dedicated arrival lobbies for each tower. Indoor and outdoor amenities on the third floor add further spaces for residents to live and unwind within the urban setting.
The architecture draws inspiration from the riverside lifestyle, particularly traditional stilt houses and houseboats, reinterpreted through a contemporary architectural language. Tower A features stepped terraces reminiscent of yacht decks, complemented by private gardens and shared resort-style spaces.

For an international architecture practice, our goal is to create a deep connection with local culture. With Triton Crown, we sought to create an authentic development with a strong sense of identity, rooted in the land, people and community. The design draws inspiration from river culture, from how people live and move on the water, combining the image of riverside stilt houses with stepped forms reminiscent of super-yacht living.
The idea of water and flow runs throughout the design, from the building massing and circulation to its soft lines, rounded corners and panoramic interiors. No two façades are identical, with the interplay of light and shadow carefully considered creating a distinctive architectural expression.
Triton Crown’s design is tailored to its site, from traffic circulation and arrival lobbies to building proportions and connections with the landscape. The massing and orientation of the apartments maximise views towards the riverfront and park, while floor-to-ceiling, high-performance glazing creates an open living environment and supports energy efficiency.

Quality and sustainability are further reflected in the choice of materials and technologies. Open-joint metal cladding helps reduce dirt accumulation and maintenance costs, while integrated architectural lighting enhances the façades. Low-E insulated glazing reduces heat transfer, laminated glass improves acoustic insulation, and rooftop solar panels are being studied to generate clean energy.
Together, these solutions are designed to enhance quality, efficiency and the long-term performance of the development.

The yacht concept has been reinterpreted as “Yacht on Land,” expressed through soft curves, layered design and transitions between materials to create a sense of luxury and refinement without ostentation.
This language is combined with the “Rhythm of the Lotus” concept, inspired by the form and movement of the lotus and translated into spatial proportions, curves, lighting and interiors. The result is a space that meets international standards while retaining a distinctly Vietnamese identity.
Wood, natural stone, metal and glass are combined to create warm, sophisticated and timeless interiors. In the lobby, rounded details and lighting effects evoke lotus leaves and the surface of water, transforming natural inspiration into a tangible experience.
The ultimate aim is to create homes that are not only beautiful, but also comfortable and flexible, allowing residents to enjoy their living spaces and express their individual personalities.

When we first visited the Triton Crown site, we felt it was telling two stories: the story of more than 30 years of Phu My Hung’s urban development, and the next chapter represented by Triton Crown, building on that legacy while looking to the future.
We were impressed by how Phu My Hung has preserved the landscape around Crescent Lake. For Triton Crown, our aim is to connect the project to this ecosystem by increasing greenery and diversifying layers of vegetation, creating harmony between nature, the city and people.
The landscape is designed as a continuous system from the ground level to elevated gardens and rooftop gardens, forming an ecosystem integrated with the architecture. Plants with different flowering cycles and changing foliage colours are selected to maintain greenery throughout the year while creating natural seasonal variations.
We hope that after 10 to 20 years, as the trees mature and form green canopies, the landscape at Triton Crown will become a familiar part of residents’ daily lives and memories.

Lighting design for a luxury residential development is about balancing light and shadow, using warm tones and timeless contemporary language while respecting residents’ privacy.
Following a survey of light intensity in Phu My Hung, we found the nighttime environment around Crescent Lake to be particularly tranquil. The lighting scheme is therefore designed to minimise its impact on nature, especially the habitat of oriental darter in the lake area. No multicoloured or dynamic colour-changing lighting is used, with the aim of creating harmony between people, the city and nature.
Lighting scenarios are adjusted according to the time of day and usage needs, guided by three principles: Environment, Function and Emotion. The lighting helps establish the venture’s nighttime identity and guide residents through different spaces, while creating a sense of warmth, tranquillity and calm.
Architecturally, indirect lighting strips follow the towers’ curves and stepped forms, evoking the image of a yacht with a “crown” cutting through the water. Carefully controlled lighting highlights the towers’ forms, curves and distinctive features, creating a continuous visual flow from the crown to the podium.
The aim is for Triton Crown to stand out and remain recognisable while blending harmoniously into the Crescent Lake nightscape, creating a distinctive nighttime identity through subtlety rather than ostentation.

We worked on the logo and signage system for Triton Crown, featuring a crown, trident and lotus. The crown and trident represent power, prosperity and aspiration, while the lotus reflects elegance, purity and Vietnamese cultural values.
The logo combines contemporary lines drawn from the towers’ architecture with the lotus motif, creating a refined and balanced identity that meets international design standards while retaining a local character. The lotus supporting the crown and trident also represents a balance between strength and status on one hand, and softness, warmth and a sense of tranquillity on the other.
The logo’s layers and proportions are derived from the architectural forms of the towers, creating consistency between the brand and the development. The signage and wider identity system follow the design language of international luxury hotels and resorts, combining natural stone with handcrafted brass to create a refined and prestigious arrival experience.
The aim is to establish a distinctive and pioneering brand identity for Triton Crown, where international design standards are blended with Vietnamese cultural values.

Triton Crown has achieved 4 EDGE green building certifications, focusing on energy, water and materials. EDGE Certified requires a minimum saving of 20 per cent across all three categories, while EDGE Advanced requires 40 per cent energy savings and 20 per cent savings in water and materials.
For a luxury development with extensive glazing, energy efficiency is a key consideration. Triple Low-E glazing helps reduce heat gain, maintain thermal comfort and lower electricity consumption.
For water efficiency, the venture uses stainless-steel water tanks with ozone treatment for landscaping and swimming pools, alongside water-efficient plants and sanitary fixtures. A smart building management system monitors electricity consumption and technical operations, optimises mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, adjusts lighting and detects potential waste or leaks at an early stage.
These solutions help reduce energy consumption and operating costs for residents, while contributing to lower pressure on the power grid and reduced carbon emissions, supporting the goal of net-zero 2050.
Previously, on October 18, Phu My Hung Development Corporation launched the sale of Tower A in the Triton Crown project, attracting over 400 customers to participate in a draw for the right to purchase apartments. Following this initial launch, the developer plans to introduce Tower B to the market in November 2026.
