In order to accommodate rapid growth as well as strengthen RSM’s presence in the central region, the firm has launched its new office on the fifth floor of Dai Thang Building in Danang.
The new office will be the firm’s third office in Vietnam. Plans to develop operations in Danang were initiated by RSM Vietnam’s lifelong core purpose of being the firm of choice for growing businesses looking for high quality and personalised services.
The new office will allow RSM Vietnam to assist its central region clients in achieving its long-time goals through audit, tax and consulting services.
“The Danang office is RSM Vietnam’s third service point in addition to two offices in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. It plays a strategic role in our firm’s both regional and national growth plans”, said Le Khanh Lam, chairman of RSM Vietnam, “We believe our Danang office, as an enabler to grow, will contribute to the economic development of this city and the broader region by providing businesses with our professional services”.
RSM is currently in the top 10 largest service providers of audit, tax, and consulting services in Vietnam with more than 400 people, of which 40 professionals hold a CPA qualification issued by the Ministry of Finance.
Danang is known as a leading educational and industrial centre for Central Vietnam. Focusing on tourism and the services sector, Danang has attracted growing capital from both local and foreign investors. In 2020, Danang topped the list of foreign direct investment attraction in the central and Central Highlands regions. As of May 15 this year, the city is home to 902 foreign-invested projects with the total capital of over $3.86 billion.
According to Danang People’s Committee, the central city will continue its efforts to lure investors in the new phase of development. It will complete its infrastructure, select investors for new industrial zones and high-tech parks, and ease administrative procedures to create a favourable investment climate.
With fast-paced development, Danang is emerging as an ideal destination for investors and consulting firms alike. The new RSM Vietnam office is located in Cam Le district, which is an urban district of Danang. The office is expected to boost its ability to meet the demand in both Danang and the surrounding areas in the central region.
“As the largest city in the region, Danang is Vietnam’s economic growth driver with many traffic and geographic advantages. Despite getting hit by the pandemic, the city has a lot of growth potential. From our new office in Danang, RSM Vietnam will leverage our global network and professional service experience, and we believe to deepen our relationships with the local business community”, said Nguyen Thi Gia Lai, director and representative of RSM Vietnam’s Danang office.
Established in 2001, RSM Vietnam has been a member of the RSM network since 2012. RSM Vietnam serves clients worldwide as an independent and highly integrated member of the RSM network, with member firms in 120 countries and 820 offices worldwide, and more than 48,000 staff including 3,750 partners around the world.
