First Vietnamese COVID-19 vaccine Nano Covax enters second phase of human trials

The second phase of human trials for the first domestically-made COVID-19 vaccine Nano Covax began on February 26, as the next step in Vietnam’s vaccine development. Developed by Nanogen Pharmaceutical Biotechnology JSC, Nano Covax is anticipated to begin its third phase in May, and will be hopefully available in the market next year, helping the country control its vaccine supply and ease reliance on imports.
