Gamuda’s Tet of Love programme

Gamuda yesterday donated 200 Tet gifts value of VND100 million ($5,000) to poor people in Hanoi’s Hoang Mai district.
As a caring corporate citizen, Gamuda Land Vietnam LLC always takes opportunities to express love and sharing to the under privileged people.
Since coming and working in Vietnam, Gamuda Land Vietnam has carried out a number of community-based activities to help improve the quality of life of local people.
Gamuda Land Vietnam has completed several community-based activities, namely
Charity to people suffering from the flood in October 2010, together with the Malaysian Embassy and Malaysian community residing in Hanoi. In addition, Gamuda staff organised a trip to provide direct support to 129 households suffering from serious losses caused by the recent severe floods in the commune of Duc Lien, Vu Quang district, Ha Tinh province.
With “Gamuda - Warm Love” in January 2010, Gamuda Land Vietnam donated 1,000 winter jackets for poor elderly people in Hoang Mai district, and with “Gamuda - Back to School” in October 2009, the company donated 1,000 schoolbags for pupils in three primary schools in the district.
