From November 13- 22, Mercedes-Benz is offering its elite Maybach customers an exclusive Maybach service clinic, taking place nationwide at its authorised dealers.
This is the first of its kind in the super luxury segment in Vietnam. A specialist from Germany, Karlheinz Mueller, is assigned to exclusively inspect every Maybach with special tools and all the know-how that only the factory experts from the place of origin of the Maybach can provide to its elite customers.
Mercedes-Benz is recently gained the highest rank in aftersales customer satisfaction in Vietnam luxury segment, according to the J.D. Power Asia Pacific 2012 study. This study measures the owner satisfaction with the after-sales services in five factors: service quality, vehicle pick-up, service facility, service advisor, and service initiation.
Michael Behrens, CEO of Mercedes-Benz Vietnam, said: “A Maybach is a saloon like no other. The brand name has always stood for ‘Excellence in Luxury’ and peak performance across the board in the highest-end luxury segment. With more than 20 Maybach vehicles in the country, Vietnam is one of the key markets in South East Asia. Most Maybach customers own more than one Mercedes-Benz.”

Designed with painstaking attention to detail and built in a state-of-the-art, the Maybach 57 and Maybach 62, which were launched in 2002, have been continuing the tradition of the legendary Maybach cars of the1920s and 30s, which stood alongside Mercedes-Benz models as some of the finest examples of automotive excellence worldwide.
The Mercedes-Benz and Maybach automotive brands have much in common besides a long and distinguished tradition. Wilhelm Maybach, a long-time associate of Gottlieb Daimler, held the post of technical director at Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft (DMG). Wilhelm Maybach built a car that heralded the modern era. His Opus No.1 went down in history as the first Mercedes, and he is still remembered as the "king of the design engineers".
In the years after 1919 Karl Maybach, the son of Wilhelm Maybach made quite a name for himself through the development of exclusive and technically flawless luxury cars. By 1941, Karl Maybach had built around 1800 of these high-class vehicles, with the bodies painstakingly designed and equipped according to the customers' specifications.
The flagship Maybach model was the DS 8 “Zeppelin”, ranked as one of the most prestigious German cars of its time, “a car of the greatest elegance and power which you would give your last wish to own”.
The tradition of legendary Maybach vehicles is a part of the elite in the German and international automotive construction industry. Even after production of the legendary models, the double-M hood ornament remains very much alive in the hearts and minds of engineers, designers and automotive enthusiasts.
